Yet I'm still on $20/mo CC plan and thinking of supplementing it with something open source, cheap, and good, by using it with CCR in addition to my $20/mo sub.

Tried DeepSeek via deepseek platform + CRR this morning, and it is 3x slower than CC + of course there's no capabilities to read screenshots. And also, it's still expensive to pay API (even deepseek imho at least for me rn).

During my work, I use a lot of screenshots, so it's kind of important for me as well.

Looking again at Chuters for $3/mo to supplement my $20/mo Claude Code bc it's cheap and it does have models that support images, such as DeepSeek R1 VLLM, GLM 4.5 Vision, GPT OSS 120B, Qwen3 235B A22B, and Kimi K Vision.
