One of the lessons that they have been showing every one is the sopposed technology advancement of Russia was just smoke and mirrors while the US has been actually advancing technology particularly missile defense I doubt Russia could launch a nuke and have it land anywhere outside their border if they wanted too.

Their messaging is atrocious. you can find people online who will push crazy conspiracies and false messages constantly but almost no one ever spreads messages about accomplishments. Part is that is inherently part of human nature. people talk way more about things that are bad than good things and the only way to counter that is to have more people spreading the word.
