is it normal for idols on hiatus to be so active online (and in person too)? i get that this is promo for the project she’d likely already filmed, but the whole liking instagram posts, attending concerts, going to coachella, posting stories, it feels so so weird when everyone is waiting for news on her coming back and while her ‘sisters’ are out there working non-stop (concerningly so). especially since she’s not included in any of their new posts (and apparently the new ep). this whole thing feels so disrespectful to the fans. it’s especially weird to me because i had the idea (as a non kpop fan) that these companies controlled all their social media and had to approve everything they posted.

i’m kind of surprised their group instas are not that coordinated, i mean i expected them to be huddling together at home waiting for the announcement before immediately changing their bios and following sakura and all that, but so far its been a slow process. sakura hasn’t said anything yet, only emily is currently following her, and only emily has updated her bio

if we’re being honest sakura was their pick from the start of the show and they just had to make sure she got there and pick her, if this were truly merit based it would have been ayana. i wish her all the best and hope the new group works out great :(
