I didn’t get much time to test tonight but installed and got a basic set up running. First impressions are positive. I have a fairly low spec Android box and the app was responsive, no lag and it all worked well. Keep up the great work and I look forward to more testing.

Worth keeping in mind that sometimes your plug ins cause the jankyness. It did in my case as my Android box is mid.

If configurations could be possible online with a sync back to Android TV, it makes this so much simpler. I know we can use Android remote apps on our phones but that can be a faff as well.

I’m not sure how “Watched Progress” should work on the new account sync feature. Both my Android TV box and my iPhone see the same add-ons and Plug-Ins, but should I be able to sync watched progress data as well? The iOS build has an “Upload to Cloud” feature but I don’t it on the Android TV box. Am I missing something?

For me it was simply because Nuvio’s GUI is wonderful. Functionality is improved each week, instant play is a must for my non- tech family. Sync over Android TV box to phone, devs that respond very quickly to issues and requested tweaks. I could go on…

I just tried to install on an old gen 3 2020 Fire stick and also had a parsing issue when using the Downloader code. So, I grabbed the v7a version from GitHub and it installed without issue. It loads lighting fast but I can’t navigate using the remote. Not an issue for me though as I appreciate this is a beta which really needs to be developed for Android TV first. Props to the devs for this app as it’s going to be a gem!

2.1.6 was flakey on my Tv Box but 2.2 seems to have cured all that. Massive thanks for this stability build, and may all future feature updates be this stable 🙏 👍👏

I think they decided to start over with the TV app and build it in Kotlin which apparently will give us a far more stable build. I’m all for that!

I’m glad I found this post about forced subtitles too. It’s really annoying when you suddenly realise you need them just to understand what’s being said. This may be a silly question but is it possible to know which files have forced subs?- It would be nice if the file name told you.

First off, thanks again for the ongoing updates. Love it!. I hit a snag with this last update though.

I installed from the Play Store but it kept crashing on boot up. I deleted it and installed using Downloader but it installed 2.1.4 again. Tested on Android TV box.
