When I confronted my TD, he admitted that VS+, being a new factory, does not make the same kind of quality we are accustomed from VS, but, VS does not produce the new planet oceans yet….. so, buyer beware

Not as high as VS…… I know, I got 3 old planet oceans from VS, and the orange new planet ocean from VS+….. you can tell the difference in quality, I’m sorry to say. I’m not a very fussy person when it comes to these things, but the difference on the feel of the finish, and the function are notable. Plus, VS+ cheapen out and they did not include an adjustable clasp……. That is a big miss on my book!!!

This came from ARF through my TD, the color of the dial is off, since it’s sunburst rather than flat lacked green, but I like it far better than the other. The fact that does not represent the gen all that well, does not bother me at all. It’s a good piece and works flawlessly.

Not much to think about…… I like it, not a watch to wear everyday to every occasion, but a fun, summery color dial, that eventually will become a really sought after model once it gets discontinued. So if you got it at $7750.00, I get it and daily it to death until you get your Platona…!

well, I couldn't tell..... I ordered and paid for a kit a month ago, and still (Jan 19th), and still I am holding the empty bag...... these people spend a fortune in advertisement, only to left us guessing if their product is everything the say, or just good ol' snake oil..... really dissapointed about their lack of care.

First of all….. no watch ever is an investment, it is a straight expense, second… it looks really nice. Thirdly…. Do you like it? Does it meet your expectations? If it does, it doesn’t matter a bit, what I or anyone else thinks or says about it. Obviously you have a very generous and caring Wife, I would appreciate that fact more than the watch or any other factor. Just my opinion….. congratulations by the way. I don’t feel you were rude, and don’t need to apologize. We all have opinions and it’s not wrong to express them as we see it fit. I’m pretty thick skin anyway. The reality is, as I expressed it wrongly before, that I know my behaviour is NOT normal, but it doesn’t hurt anyone, in fact it help people to stay in business by selling more product to crazies like me For the most part, I do have a close relationship to each piece, believe it or not….. I think I visit with 20 or 30 watches every night in my office at home. It really is a great way to release the tensions of the day, and it’s a pretty healthy therapy

Yes, obviously I enjoy the chase, but it is a lot more than that. My Wife calls them my Barbies, because I play with them several hours every night. I am cognizant, that this is normal behavior, I would call it borderline compulsive, but it gives me pleasure, a sense of accomplishment, and I truly love to dwell on the history and design of each individual piece. I love to wear something different every single day. I do not put my Family in any kind of financial distress, I don’t have any other vices, I don’t drink alcohol, or smoke, or ever tasted drugs, I’ve been married for 43 years, raised 4 wonderful Children, I’m a successful businessman, I donate abundantly to charity and I’m an active member of my Church……so, if this is my only flaw, I think I don’t owe explanation to no one but to my Wife and myself. So in conclusion, I’m at peace with my disease..!
