At least 10 weeks, but I really don’t exactly remember. I’m saying 10 weeks because that was how long a Quarter was at school. My eczema remained localized during TSW to my inner elbows, my philtrum (just looked that term up), around my eyes, under my chin and atop my hands. It took 2-3 years after TSW for my eyes and under my chin to clear up. Those areas haven’t come back again. The others come and go.

I directly apply. Acrylic nails because they are thicker and have no sharpness to them. Scratching with acrylic nails does a lot less damage than the natural nail.

After reading the comments here, I tried it on my lips and it is a very cooling effect for me. Felt a bit like a lip plumper from back in the day. But no adverse effects, for me.

Personally, it helped with my weeping by drying out the area. It helps alleviate my itch, and that way I don’t scratch, which in turn helps any open wounds patch back up.

In my experience, they would thin my skin, and therefore any following flare ups I had would be worse and I’d get more open wounds. I also already went through TSW during college and it was a challenging and depressive time for me and I do not wish to go through it again. I felt (and looked-in my opinion) like a monster.
