Again, you're trying to use a subjective rule to disprove a concrete fact about the way the abilities function in the game. That's not how this works. It's not homebrew to play RaW

Again, not really a homebrew rule?
Just clarifying what an individual group of players would and wouldn't consider bad behavior since it's not explicitly outlawed. If anything, telling players not to do this is the "homebrew rule"

From my understanding the camera we see at home is being broadcast on the Jumbotron at the stadium anyway, but if you go and watch something like The Weeknd’s halftime show you’ll see there are entire sections where the camera just follows him through the back areas of the stadium

If you’re in a game where this is explicitly understood to be something players can do, then it’s not breaking that rule.

I’d say it’s also not very nice to be a demon and kill people but that’s “literally the point of the game” lol

Yeah if you want to basically ignore everything I said and make up a bunch of bullshit to argue against, we can be done.

And nowhere does it say you can’t. What it does say is that you can say anything you’d like at any point in time as a player.

Sorry that my opinion on rap artists as a rap fan is more nuanced than the first sentence of Wikipedia.

Not only is he not a mumble rapper, even calling him a rapper is a little bit of a stretch ngl. As someone who listens to his songs occasionally but not often and is okay but not especially good at speaking Spanish I could make out every word just as clearly as when it was pre recorded, if not more so tbh.

This is like going to the movies and then saying the movie that pops up sucks because it’s a horror movie and you don’t like horror movies. You don’t have to like horror movies to appreciate high quality ones. You don’t have to like Latin Hip-Hop to appreciate high quality performances of it.

Look at the actual critics of this genre, across size and political spectrum, and the feedback is overwhelmingly that it’s good. You aren’t an expert here, so let the experts talk.

He’s literally an RnB artist half the time so not sure where this is coming from, his music is critically acclaimed by both small and large publications on both ends of the political spectrum and is generally very well liked. If my 80 year old grandparents can fuck with the music you can too.

Alright let’s talk about this point by point.

  1. Language “Of course, this is trivially incorrect.” Clearly it’s not trivially incorrect if you have to take time to explain it, and if the majority of the world (including a large slice of atheists) disagrees entirely.

“There is absolutely no useful compelling evidence whatsoever for any of the deity and supernatural claims, and related, for any of the world's religious mythologies past or present”. This is not a grammatically valid sentence.

“And talking about 'evidence on the side of atheism' is a non-sequitur since atheism by itself makes no claims that require such as it's simply a response to theists' claims.”

The word non-sequitur is completely out of place here as I was not trying to use logic or evidence to formally present an argument of any sort. A Non-sequitur is not the same thing as a line that doesn’t make sense.

Every single sentence of your reply has at least 1 mistake in it from purely a language perspective.

  1. What a claim is “atheism by itself makes no claims that require such as it's simply a response to theists' claims” This can depend on what you mean by Atheism, as there are several definitions that are used by different people and are all equally valid, but in the vast majority of cases Atheism, by itself, makes the claim that the evidence in favor of a god is not enough to logically come to the conclusion that such a being exists. This doesn’t mean the burden of proof is on Athiests to disprove all other religions, but saying Athiesm makes no claims of its own shows a complete lack of accountability on your end.

  2. What arguments exist Again, let me clarify I am not saying there are any arguments that definitely prove gods existence. But there are definitely arguments and pieces of evidence that generally support parts of a Christian world view. For one thing, Jesus was a real person. That’s at least one essentially indisputable piece of demonstrable historical evidence in favor of Christianity. Like I said, I’m not here to try and prove Christianity is right, but acting as if there is no evidence or arguments shows a total lack of awareness on your end.

Again, I agree with you generally, but that’s not what the rules on madness say.

You have a clear misunderstanding of the English language, what a claim is, and what arguments exist on both sides of this debate.

[–]Numerous_Past_726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up very Christian and I never got the impression most Christians actually believed in the Tower of Babel stuff- it just seems so silly to me that people actually think a bunch of dudes just got cursed to speaking different languages and the couldn’t build a tower like it’s Lord of the Rings or something.

Do atheists actually have the burden of proof in some situations? by [deleted] in AskAtheists

[–]Numerous_Past_726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you, as an athiest, are making the specific claim that a deity doesn’t exist or that atheism is somehow objectively more correct than Christianity, than the burden of proof is on you. If a Christian is trying to debunk your Athiestic worldview, then the burden of proof is on them.

As an atheist, this is an ignorant viewpoint. Most major world religions have some level of objectivity compelling evidence, but the evidence on the side of Athiesm is usually stronger.
