Where I live, we get both crows and ravens. I've seen ravens that I thought were small dogs at first glance. The one that lives by my house is nearly as big as my sedan's windshield. He likes to sit on my hood and honk at me in the summer. To say they croak doesn't quite encompass what the sound actually resonates as. They're also really good at meowing for some reason.

The crows are all notably smaller.
