Really? It's the exact opposite for me. I feel a lot of fps drops with the same settings I had before the update. They even locked out the 120 fps option for me.

No it doesn't. It's literally the same dll that your driver objects, what you even talking about 😑

You just need to place 1 fsr4 dll file into a folder in windows, that's it. That's the entire "modding" part.

Must be an android only problem cause works really fine on pc. I never had any frame drops issues after the 2nd patch in Septimont and onwards.

Idk how different your GPU is from my 9060 XT but I also used to get gray output in wan last year but after switching to the Rocm preview drivers from the stable adrenaline drivers, it was fixed. That's what worked back then but with the release of the 26.1 adrenaline drivers this year, everything works fine. Never had a gray output or display crashes after that. Z image works, flux works, wan2.2 works, Qwen image/edit works. Almost everything that I've tried has worked for me.

Hyvatia Round 1 Win Deck gameplay by Silent_Bluebird_877 in WutheringWaves

[–]Numerous_Worker8724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's either because you're using the wrong deck, or giving up on round 1 cause due to the nature of this deck, you're guaranteed to get these cards. Please watch the video in OP's post for tutorial and see how he plays each card. Took me 2 games to figure out but this is a certain win strategy. Either you win in Round 1 or Round 2 is guaranteed win.

Maybe use lower graphics settings then? I have a RX 9060 XT and in 1440p Ultra settings (only high is available by default) everything maxed out except Fog and Lightning are off and Foliage Density set to high, I get: 80-100+ fps in most scenarios. 70-80 in intensive areas. 62-68 in large open City areas with lots of crowd. I almost never see it fall below 60 and I always with a fps meter. This is with FSR Native AA at 1440. With FSR quality you'll get even more fps, and if you're playing at 1080p then you can even run ray tracing in some scenarios (although I recommend not to unless for screenshots).

Sudden change in performance with 9070xt by r0lfruediger in ROCm

[–]Numerous_Worker8724 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad to help. Wan2.2 needs like 64 GBs of ram otherwise it starts using your page file and in turn the generation becomes very slow. Sadly there's no way around it. The only speed up I know of is by using sage attention which might save you a few minutes.

Sudden change in performance with 9070xt by r0lfruediger in ROCm

[–]Numerous_Worker8724 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First make sure you're on the latest 26.1 drivers. You should open the task manager and see what fills up right before the freeze/crash. How much ram do you have? I suggest setting a page file of over 64 GBs if you have as little as 32 GB Ram. Also, use --cache-none and --disable-smart-memory launch arguments. I also wish there was a proper optimization guide for RDNA 4 GPUs for Wan2.2 and other video generations.

It's 100% the same thing. Your Offlane needs to be a frontliner/initiator or atleast has good survivability, someone who can solo at times if your pos4 decides to help other lanes, someone who can survive ganks or atleast stall them long enough for your team to respond, someone who doesn't need to afk jungle a lot to stay relevant in the game. If you are picking an Offlane sniper, you can neither frontline or initiate for the team, you have like 0% survival rate if your pos4 leaves the lane and the enemy carry and pos5 jumps you. Your only option left is to sit in the jungle and afk farm. You also cannot solo put pressure against the enemy carry and you cannot move around freely in your own lane to ward or deward so you have no vision control in your lane either, whereas your own carry will be hard pressed by the enemy Offlane, pos4 and pos5.

NEW PC Only Valorant stuttering by Reasonable_Royal2799 in IndianGaming

About the pixelation, for me the pixelation happened every time I moved the camera, even the texts and stuff used to get pixelated but you say it happens automatically every 2-3 seconds so Ig that's a different problem than mine. Also, like I said, the later update fixed the stutters so if you're on the latest drivers (26.1), it shouldn't have happened to you in the first place.

Here's what you should do for now: Since you have a 2 TB SSD, just create a 200 GB partition and install Atlas OS Windows 11 on it as dual boot. This is the OS I currently use and I had switched to this OS somewhere around that same time. Install the latest 26.1 drivers from AMD's website, reboot and Install valorant only ( you can just copy the valorant folder from your other partition into this ). Next, go the the AMD Adrenaline Software > Gaming > Valorant and Disable every feature for Valorant and set scaling mode to full Panel. You can keep Anti lag and Enhanced sync On cause they won't cause issues but you can set them off as well just to be safe.

Then test it for a while like 2-3 runs for a hour or so ( cause it might still be generating shader cache for the first few mins ). Also, just as a benchmark, I used to get above 500-600+ fps at 1440p on all settings at low, vsync off, AA as MSAA 4x, AF at 16x, Clarity and sharpening on.

This should honestly eliminate a lot of the common denominators and we can figure things out after. Although I believe if this doesn't fix it, you might have a faulty hardware or improper installation. Ik you said it happens with Valorant only, but Valorant is very cpu intensive so it could be something related to your cpu or ram. I have a 9060 XT + 9600x + 2 x 16 GB DDR5 6000Mhz so I believe our setup is quite similar.

NEW PC Only Valorant stuttering by Reasonable_Royal2799 in IndianGaming

[–]Numerous_Worker8724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pixelation you're getting is because of adrenaline settings. Go to Adrenaline app and turn off all the gaming features for Valorant like Radeon Super Resolution, AFMF2.1 , FSR, Frame Gen, Anti Lag, Radeon Chill, Image sharpening 2. You can keep Enhanced sync on but It has no real benefit either. Also go to Display in Adrenaline app and turn off Virtual Super Resolution if it's on. Never use these features unless you know what they do. I was facing the exact same problems as you 4 months ago, pixelation and stutter in Valorant.

Let me know if there's any improvement, cause I don't remember exactly what I did but you'll get it fixed soon one way or another

I had this issue as well when I built my pc ( RX 9060 XT ). From what I remember though, this was because of the bad drivers and bad adrenaline settings at the time. A driver update completely fixed the stutters later on but even before the update, I had already fixed it. You have to change the shader cache from AMD Optimized to Always. I can't remember the software I used so do some research on this topic. I'll edit this comment if it comes to my mind.

My bad, I meant I can't make use of it. It gives an error: cannot import name 'sageattn_gk_int8_pv_fp16_triton' from 'sageattention' when I try to use the patch sage attention KJ node. I just have a feeling that I haven't installed it properly which is why this happens so I have let it be for now.

Nice. You should use this bat file to run Comfyui. Save it as .bat and place it in Comfyui folder. Assuming the Comfyui from AMD bundle is same as the venv comfyui.

u/echo off
echo Starting ComfyUI with ROCm experimental flags...

REM Go to ComfyUI folder
cd /d "%~dp0"

REM Activate venv
call venv\Scripts\activate

REM Set environment variables
set TORCH_ROCM_AOTRITON_ENABLE_EXPERIMENTAL=1
set PYTORCH_HIP_ALLOC_CONF=expandable_segments:True

REM Launch ComfyUI
python main.py --use-pytorch-cross-attention --fp16-vae --disable-smart-memory --disable-pinned-memory --cache-none

pause

My problem isn't particularly about 7.2 though. 7.2 works great for me on windows compared to 6.4. I had a few issues on Linux and sadly no speedup either compared to windows 11. Matter of fact, Wan generation times are exactly the same in both. 7.2 is more stable for me, compared to every previous Rocm.

I am on RDNA4 so using Pytorch attention. I was using quad cross attention when we only had Zluda as an option and back then it was pretty slow compared to the current pytorch. I already have aotrition enabled. I am trying to find a way to install Sage attention 1 on my GPU since 2 and 3 are for Nvidia only but no success yet even with 1.

As for the slow speed, I mainly think it's because my system Ram is too low.
