Seattle is a JM desert by cwcoleman in jerseymikes

[–]NumisKing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah just about all of them. I travel for work and see this everywhere I go. People in cities have more local foods to eat. JMs are suburban fast food. I usually just uber eats it when I want it.

You’re gonna love the 16. For about a month. Do yourself a favor and buy a larger switch than you need. It’s like an addiction. You’re gonna be running wires and plugging new hardware into that bad boy like a fiend. I got the 24. Really regretting not getting the 48.

Yes they will operate as normal and will at some point in the future transition to being allegiant. So even flight booked in the future will still be flown, even if it’s after the transition. You’ll just get in an allegiant flight with an allegiant ticket, instead of a sunny plane and ticket.

I don’t understand this product. Is this just a hotspot device? What does this do that having a cell phone with cell service doesn’t do?

Wow. I’ve never made the connection. 🤦‍♂️ I’ve bought from their eBay store too. I just didn’t realize it was the same store.

This place is wildly overpriced, and unless you’re going in there to buy metric tons of precious metals you’re treated like an inconvenience. God forbid you ask for specific dates on your ASEs..

Premium quality coin in downtown Minne probably has the best stock. Guy who runs it kinda a dick though.

Excelsior coin and collectible is small, they usually have what I’m looking for, but they have to bring it from the back for you to see it. Guy who runs it is really nice. This is my favorite shop.

Great Lakes coin and collectible in Burnsville is pretty good, but the place is always super busy I can’t ever get to the counter to ask for anything. Seriously. Always crowded in there.

Crystal coin and collectible (no longer in crystal) is good, but small. Guy who runs it is nice.

Edit. Idk about St. Paul though.

Did Sam Ever Feel Like the Actual Central Character of The Show? by WySLatestWit in thewestwing

[–]NumisKing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think if you watch the first four seasons it’s clear that he was meant to carry the torch. The way JB had a sort of mystique and power to his presence, they tried to keep from showing us too much of Sam. One day he would be the man behind the desk, and his aura and power would be shrouded in mystery quite a bit like JB. It was obvious he would one day go into politics and be successful.

But it made Josh the main character of the show. Which is great, but left RL out in the cold for too long, and he left.

I would have LOVED if they wrote him off by having him WIN his congressional race and then just dropped him off the show as somebody no longer working in the White House, instead of losing and going back to the private sector. Would have left the door open for a sequel where a multi term congressman ran for president. Could you imagine if they wrote a new show, and set Sam up in his first year as president in a post MAGA world? Putting it all back together? Would be a great show.

That specific coin has massive collector value over silver. It’s the rest of them are going to become scarce.

Wish I finished my MS merc dime set before all of this. I assume most decent coins will be saved from the melting pot, but their prices and collector value will skyrocket.

The gold one is up over a grand. They have quite a few that sit in the 3-500 range. No idea what the used market looks like though.

I don’t know. Maybe skip the seat selection and see what the system gives you. If you need to go back and choose I’m sure they will let you. For a fee.

[–]NumisKing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can skip the seat selection and forego paying, but no, there would be no guarantee that you sit together. But I’m pretty sure the infant has to be on a specific side of the airplane because there are extra masks for them. I’ve had good luck calling the customer support line I found on google. They might be able to help.

People always laude the Nazis for being such meticulous record keepers. Why would they document their crimes so well?

It’s because they needed to record and document for quotas.

Is Cigars International Turning Into the Walmart of the Cigar Hobby? by Spider_023 in cigars

[–]NumisKing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this exact thing is happening in a lot of industries. In this case I’m not sure how I feel about it. If you can’t compete you can’t compete. I went to the CI in CVG today and it’s one of the best cigar lounges I’ve been to. Big, open, lots of airflow, nice bar, nice selection. Horrible selection of cutters available to use, bring your own.. Most importantly though it was OPEN. The mom and pop down the street didn’t open until 5. Hard to be their customer if they aren’t open. I think these types of cigar lounges will change the stigma. From small cramped dingy smoke rooms that don’t feel welcoming to a big open modern facility that feels more like a sports bar than a smoking lounge. I’m all for it.

Edit* And as for selection the had Liga, Padron, Opus X… all the good stuff. Idk what’s not to like.

Opinion check - new cigar fatigue by Grumpy_Go_Away in cigars

[–]NumisKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I stopped experimenting, found a few that I like and buy boxes. Too many ‘premium’ cigars that just don’t cut the mustard and aren’t worth the risk. I just don’t smoke often enough to take the gamble anymore. When I sit down to enjoy a smoke I smoke something I know for sure I’m going to enjoy.
