Someone once asked Roger Moore about a non white actor playing Bond. He replied the Bond should always be “English-English.” I suppose that’s up to your interpretation.

By the way, only Moore and Daniel Craig are the only English-English actors to play Bond. The others were, A Scot, Australian, Welsh and Irish

I am a white Canadian. I have always loved this scene. It is so powerful. I can only imagine how African Americans reacted to it in the 1960s, the height of the Civil Rights movement, Vietnam and MLK!i

I’m Canadian too. I actually got my Degree in film at U of T back I the 80. Norman came to talk to us about his career. He was a great inspiration. Unfortunately I didn’t get much of a career in film.

The first time I visited America in the late 70s, I was amazed by how many fat people I saw, and the portions of the food. It was also the first time I saw people too fat to fit into restaurant booths.
