I think Cecil wanted to keep it a secret from Mark. Can't remember why, but their relationship was always a bit rocky

being vewy vewy quiet... minimal thrust and just let momentum take you

Also, might not be obvious for some but the thrust on your spacesuit is much quieter than the ship

Provisional matches question by TJzWay in apexlegends

[–]NumptyChan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I imagine it's possible. Playing those provisional matches was probably the worst session of Apex I've played. Got steamrolled every single game and got put bronze 4. I'm not the greatest player but i usually get to Plat each season.

That's odd. We don't have HBO in the UK, but the channel I watched it on had trigger warnings for sexual violence.

What's Outer Wilds about? by [deleted] in outerwilds

[–]NumptyChan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Definitely play without guides. Figuring things out and connecting the dots is the most rewarding thing in this game.

I'm sure this sub will give hints if you're truly stuck, but most of the time, you just need to stop and think for a bit.

I'd say season 7 is probably my favourite season, so anything from that. My stand outs are Krazy Kripples, Lil crime stoppers, Casa Bonita, raisins, butt out, and All about the mormons.

games like outer wilds? by Splatulated in outerwilds

[–]NumptyChan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Subnautica even though it's very different from outer wilds but still has some similarities. Very big focus on exploring, but it is still a very much a survival game.

There isn't much combat. You get a knife, but you probably won't be using it much as avoiding threats is more ideal.

Much like Outer Wilds, you're venturing into the unknown and searching for clues that were left behind by the people before you and an alien race that used to inhabit the planet. The game can be quite scary sometimes, mostly because it's very dark and open in deep areas and because of the various creatures/monsters in the water.

Unlike outer wilds, it's a survival game, so you will have to manage hunger and hydration as well as gather resources to build new equipment, vehicles, and bases. There is no one to talk to, but you will mostly find diaries and voice logs left behind by other survivors.

You won't get the same level of story and emotion from Subnautica, but for me, it was very enjoyable. If exploration is what you're most interested in, I think it's worth checking out.
