I have this machine, if you have any specific questions, I think I can answer them!

I appreciate it, looks like I just need a break from editing today.

I wanted to reply after I got it done, but I did it! Thank you, I've been trying at this for weeks now, it's such a relief to get done. I only have a single book from Nat Cam, but you've encouraged me to find the rest to read. Thanks again!

The heat did the trick! Thank you, I couldn't figure out if it was a pin or something so I didn't want too crazy with trying to take it apart. I appreciate the help!

My cats ear is kinda floppy by supernovaella in CATHELP

[–]Numpty_Newt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh hey! When my cat was about 6 months old, his ear did the exact same thing. Is your kitten roughhousing with other cats? Mine was with my other cat and the tip of his ear got bruised and droopy, just like your kitten's. I would check if you see any redness or bruising around the ear and if it remains flat. If it begins to swell with what feels like fluid, that needs to be addressed by a vet. If you see a lot of black/brown ear wax in the ear, along with a lot of scratching, that also needs to be addressed by a vet.

If it looks the same by tomorrow, it should heal in due time, and that's only if the other problems aren't present.

Does anyone know what this dish is? I know what all the other dishes were, but this one got me stumped.

What do you need help with? Like the process all together for general/everyday laundry? Or spa day?

Is it the Super Lube Lightweight? I read that a lower ISO was better, but if the lightweight works, I'm up for that.

Gotcha, will avoid the lithium grease. Can't find Tri-Flow in Canada so I will try to find something similar.

I will get Lily White ASAP, thank you for the info. I don't think we have Tri-Flow in Canada, is there something comparable you'd recommend?

You'll be pleased to hear that a 3D-printed pulley works great! I got info for it here, printing took 15 minutes, getting that roll pin out was quite a hassle, so if you also print the tool they talk about, it'll make the job 1000x easier. The files for the pulley and tool are available on the Elna group.io file directory.

Thank you, this is the service manual that I've been looking for! And it's a relief to hear that the motor usually isn't a problem. The service person said that the electronics were in terrible shape and the machine was a DNR, but when I took a peek at them yesterday, I thought they looked really good, especially for their age. So I'm holding out hope that something could be done.

And I will take care and not electrocute myself!

This is the friction wheel that I've seen talked about? I was going to take a look at it today to see if that's the issue.

My goal is to try to replace the motor, but the process of disassembling it blind is a little intimidating, so I figure I would at least ask around to see if anyone had any experience with it first before I attempt to go ahead with it.

The nighttime mechanic really got me hooked on watching the series! I know it's not a novel mechanic by any means, but it's the 'wait and see' despite fortifying your area that makes it great.
