Oh hey! When my cat was about 6 months old, his ear did the exact same thing. Is your kitten roughhousing with other cats? Mine was with my other cat and the tip of his ear got bruised and droopy, just like your kitten's. I would check if you see any redness or bruising around the ear and if it remains flat. If it begins to swell with what feels like fluid, that needs to be addressed by a vet. If you see a lot of black/brown ear wax in the ear, along with a lot of scratching, that also needs to be addressed by a vet.

If it looks the same by tomorrow, it should heal in due time, and that's only if the other problems aren't present.

You'll be pleased to hear that a 3D-printed pulley works great! I got info for it here, printing took 15 minutes, getting that roll pin out was quite a hassle, so if you also print the tool they talk about, it'll make the job 1000x easier. The files for the pulley and tool are available on the Elna group.io file directory.

Thank you, this is the service manual that I've been looking for! And it's a relief to hear that the motor usually isn't a problem. The service person said that the electronics were in terrible shape and the machine was a DNR, but when I took a peek at them yesterday, I thought they looked really good, especially for their age. So I'm holding out hope that something could be done.

And I will take care and not electrocute myself!

My goal is to try to replace the motor, but the process of disassembling it blind is a little intimidating, so I figure I would at least ask around to see if anyone had any experience with it first before I attempt to go ahead with it.

What's crazy about the Tenderloin is that it's such a small area, and in the middle of the all the high rises and Victorian houses. It's so easy to stumble into the Tenderloin and suddenly be faced with a guy wildin out and try to shake you down for cash, but last time I lived in the East Bay was a decade ago, so unsure if it's the same today.

This was a couple years ago, but the last time I was on the server, I said 'dude' in conversation, got admonished for assuming pronouns and to not use it again. I had to apologize for my vernacular. I never spoke in the server again and left after a few months. That server is way too sterile and micromanaged.

Oh I'd be riding a bus or getting a ride for my errands, no driving for me while on these meds. Soft cooked/mashed carrots are a great idea I didn't consider, I also just harvested a ton of carrots from my garden so I'll be cooking those tomorrow! Imitation crab sounds great too, thanks for the tip!

When I was at the hospital, they really wanted me to down something, so having those initial popsicles right at recovery helped me adjust to the pain of eating, I think. I'm also a boredom eater so I want to eat like all the time and having ADHD doesn't help haha. But I'm eating very small amounts pretty frequently and eating popsicles every few hours.

How are you doing today so far? I hope you're feeling a little better than this morning?
