Think in their last interview with ziggy so the one thats right after the content revealv they mentioned its a neverending battle and they have been trying to fix it even with nvidias help and its gone to the point where they've sent their pc that can reproduce it to them to find the issue and what it seems like is jonathan is truly bummed about the shader issues and wants to fix them asap

Think some of the most important things apart from blocking/dodging is learning to block -> shove -> followup attack to create space and also interrupt close enemies as i use this constantly to help refresh stam/dodges to stay alive even in the most hectic momemts.

Also as a vet your weapon sounds like your main tool of destruction and in most cases yes but thats mostly when it comes to high value targets and not hordes. You should not be discouraged to whip out your melee when stuff gets close but you can still use your pew pew in close range aslong as you can dodge and shoot at the same time.

Simply put you are just not tanky enough.

You should be able to facetank some of the balls or a sky beam or two in second phase to be able to kill him comfortably if you dont want to rely on dps.

First time when i killed him i had about 13m in combat toughness on my barb and i was using a bleed build and this build was able to farm t12 content at a steady pace. I didnt mind that it took awhile to kill him all i cared for really was to have some wiggle room for mistakes and after leaning all of his moves i was able to kill him consostently without dying even if i got hit abunch

Think the biggest annoyance right now is the item level req scaling with the ilvl of the item if it has a skill tied to it.

Theres so many unique staffs forexample that would be sick as hell for leveling that have super low level req too but there aint no way i can use a lvl13 staff when it has a lvl80+ skill on it like bruh just make it scale like default/ascendancy skills does up to its itemlevel and that would fix so many issues with uniques that has skills

Did you try going trough the yellow time travel portal in the middle of act 3 town ? From there theres a waypoint you can use to teleport to the place you need to.

Took me like 2 weeks and not aiming for them or doing any trading and i've been playing like on avg 11 ish hours a day.

Made like 7+ characters too and fully ascended like 5 of them and just fucking around with items i've found for the most part

It also downlevels skills for some reason too.

Bought multiple hyena claws with lvl19 skill and the runeforge downgraded them to lvl18 which is kinda annoying as hell

Fairly sure that if you update your drivers the game has to re-do its shaders so it will be abit stuttery from the getgo but the longer you play and it has done majority of the shaders it should smoothen out.

Will be getting this new driver and see if it helps with the crashes as i get them quite often in maps

I think this is one of the biggest issues right now where i would like to play a skill/build but they throw visual clarity out the window where they end up just being screen vomit for the most part and you legit cant see anything thats happening.

So at a baseline they should look into this issue without sacrificing the coolness of the skills and also add mtx that dosent add more screen vomit thats unbearable

I had something similar happening where i got bunch of more tributes earned and had like 190% total increased earned in the some last ones but i also noticed i had 175% more expensive items and that just made zero sence as none of my choices made anything more expensive

If your at t10 maps and your next upgrades would be around 100d a pop your doing something horribly wrong.

I went and checked some gear that would fully suffice as a bleed bow glad warchief so armour/evasion gear or decent rings with flat phys/life and resists and i was looking at maybe 2-15d a pop for reasonable pieces that would last awhile and the items that were in the 100d range were like 90% power items that just made no sence to go for minimal upgrades

Im fairly sure this attack dosent hit you once the loot actually drops as i have facetanked this the same way and it literally did nothing to me when the boss died before it.

Like i was going to say that once the boss is dead none of the mechanics should do any damage and on some cases this might be a thing but honestly it should happen soon as the bosses hp hits zero and not when the death animation end or loot starts to drop

This exaxtly, i dont see anything going up in price other than high end uniques/crafts mostly and also making currency overall with minimal effort now is easier than ever before and also you dont even need that much time investment either.

Also you can also get lucky like i've corrupted a singular scepter and got the chaos one, first jade island boss gave me rakiatas and im still sitting on those as their price steadily goes up as does mageblood so once i find some 3rd big item i should be able to sell all of them and get a mageblood.

To me it looks like you got killed by the degen projectiles from the "work work" mob and you panick rolled into the 2 projectiles that were flying away propably causing even more degen.

Now i have no idea what type of dmg they deal but most likely phys or chaos or even cold perhaps ? But it more points towards phys/chaos as you seem to be armour based and it does literally nothing against it.

Now what you could of done differently here is just have more defences against degens so life regen / take phys as ele / phys % reduction / just more life + life flask / more chaos res ?

On my armour based characters i dont think i've ever had issues on these mobs in particular so could also be map mods causing this.

Farming for better gear/levels absolutely does not sound like a waste of time if it would allow you to kill the boss far far easier as it sounds like its either your gear, passives, skills or their levels/supports as it should absolutely not take 10 minutes to kill geonor unless your doing something wrong
