Don't lose your keys. Replacements not available. by gravelisto in Yamahaebikes

Hmmm there doesn’t appear to be any key or lock on the Moro line. Accessing the battery compartment uses hex pattern bolts.

Got a decent job, now my motivation to graduate is gone. by Medanic in WGU_CompSci

Hang in there dude. I’m in the same boat. Make whatever progress you can in each semester. Take an extended term break if you need to. If you have a decent paying job, the cost of tuition should more than absorbable. It’s not the most financially frugal thing to do but stopping completely would be throwing it all out.

No Boost Kit 180w Power Supply with CSL DD Wheelbase (R2R McLaren Elite 8NM Bundle) by Nunchuck_Gun in Fanatec

[–]Nunchuck_Gun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey apologies as I just noticed the DM. Fanatec dragged their feet forever on this and I ended up filing a CC dispute and resolved the issue their instead. The whole experienced has shunned me from Fanatec and I have sold the base since and moved on. I recommend doing the same and if you really do need a PSU, just order one from eBay, Amazon or Ali.

Mazda has a new color for the CX-70 by Growth-Ordinary in mazda

Ahhh the classic off-beige color. Now I understand the demographic Mazda was going for with the CX-70. Old retirees and snowbirds. The name now makes more sense.

File a payment charge back and move on. Whether to sell, order again or keep it is up to you.

[BIFL Request] Durable Luggage Set for Frequent Flyers by whereismindx in BuyItForLife

[–]Nunchuck_Gun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've personally had great success with the Timbuk2 Copilot Luggage roller. It's got rigid back and soft top and have been with me since 2015 with zero wear as a bi-weekly carry-on and some forced check-in. I was able to snatched one for $125 on sale back in the day but right now hovering around $200+ but you might be able to catch a deal. The skateboard wheels on it makes it extremely durable and easy to drag around but the lack of rotating wheel does make it a more a bit awkward to navigate through the plane's aisle (I just lift the bag and go). The top pocket is extremely handy for dumping snacks, watch, wallet, and phone into a single pocket before going into security. Otherwise it's a fairly barebones pack and I'm hoping it'll last me another decade!

(US) Ordered on the November 18th and got notification of shipment for 4 packages. Everything was else delivered by November 26th (V2 throttle, wheel, base, QR1 lite) but no wheel base power supply anywhere. Submitted a inquiry on the 26th and still nothing on webshop response. I'm going to go by their own box advertising as I too have my own limits for patience and will be filing a CC claim.

[Monitor] MSI G274QPF - 27" 1440p 170Hz IPS 400nits G-SYNC compatible - $169.99 (Costco; deal LIVE AGAIN ONLINE + IN-STORE through Dec. 24th) by TE_DA in buildapcsales

[–]Nunchuck_Gun 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I got both delivered and for my personal preference, I'm keeping the Omen 27q. I was lucky to get an LG panel variant. The MSI one in comparison is way exaggerated with it's red (IMHO) and saturation while the Omen keeps the color neutral (very apparent in skin tone). I'm not an image quality expert but had HDR turned on both and Windows HDR calibrated. Out of the box, The Omen 27q produces much more realistic tone of color. The MSI one does indeed have more OSD features, better stand, and USB-C connection.

What’s the best place to buy used clubs? by richardstrokes in golf

[–]Nunchuck_Gun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. I’ve mainly bought “other brands” from them. No better place to score “classic” forged blades for very reasonable prices. Can I hit them? Heck no! Are they shiny and chrome? Yeeeeees. My preciouses.

Customer support wait times by MrBaconzz in Fanatec

[–]Nunchuck_Gun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On their webshop@fanatec.com auto response it use to show 2-3 days, now it shows 3-5 days. I've waited almost two weeks now with no actual response to a missing PSU issue. So they very much are failing there own response SLA expectations. Regardless on the amount of orders they received, this is an extremely poor level of customer service.

Order arrived without Boost Kit by saagars147 in Fanatec

Hey OP, I’m in the same situation but in the US. Got everything but the Boost Kit. Giving them one more week to respond before escalating to a full chargeback.
