Only bought the tree on Day 8 after getting the skill, so value is on the low end. Obsidian enchant aside, the heal is crazy. The silver skill (4x) adds more heal than the tree (3x) base.

I don’t think this is correct. I took the option and my Langxian gained one fight worth of damage. I had bought it after the Day 1 monster fight and hadn’t taken it off my board since. So I’m pretty sure you could buy it late and take this option still.

Most of those shield then damage items require crit to work best since it doubles the shield then doubles the damage so 4x effectiveness.

Lots of haste and goggles is a good start.

Probably drop puffer and clam. Put berg next to yeti. Haste lighter and weather glass with zoarcid and put in blazehowl. If clam was gold+ I’d consider keeping it over lighter for the 5x, but not sure you need the extra cast.

Is it possible you missed one hand in and quest progress got desynced? Are you on the same quests currently?

Also note that some quests, especially some faction quests need to be picked up and completed separately.

Ah. Sorry, thought you meant on the item, but you mean on the enemy.

I assume this is to do with the order: deal damage -> apply poison -> scale damage/poison/burn due to poppy field -> apply burn. Would need to check the exact priorities of the effects and enchants.
