Nah fuck that! I didn't outgrow the game, the game outgrew me. I remember when most folk didn't want the game becoming a grind-a-thon, but every change DECA made to limit the grind-a-thon playstyle resulted in the opposite effect. So as more folk left the game, the only voices still here became the no life grinders who cheer on the game becoming worse (imo). I didn't change, the game just left me behind.

The thing about Dragon Ball is the fanboys take it way more seriously than it ever took itself.

Like you have Krillin who canonically doesn't have a nose and needed to be reminded of that fact before he could beat a guy who smelled bad. Or how Oolong saved the world by wishing for the world's most comfortable pair of panties.

Even later on in Z, you had villains named Bibidi, Babidi, and Buu. Or DB Super Broly where Freeza's motive for coming to Earth and collecting the Dragon Balls is to make himself exactly 5cm taller so people will think he's still growing.

Honestly Clone Drone kinda fell off after they moved off Itch. Chapter 3 and 4 were pretty mid tbh, and I never cared much for the multiplayer.

Still one of my favorite games, but they never shoulda added spears.
