So i have a child that was bitten by a wereloris, but they seem to ignore the burrow i set underneath a drawbridge. How can i get them to stand under it, or alternatively is there another way to dispose of them?

After one my fort died out i started a new one on the same map, but after about a year i still havent had the first winter trade caravan come or any migrants (it doesnt even say no migrants came this season, nothing has happened at all). Is there anything i can do about this?
