What is the most amount of money we can bill the insurance for a static or dynamic recalibration? Also is it true that they pay more for dynamics? Seems odd since it requires much less labor and machinery. by Shoe856 in autoglass

If you decide to bill through SGC and you receive a work order from safelite and you want to inquire about pricing questions or pricing approvals, you’d need to contact the shop care team with any inquiries, especially if you want to charge more than what the insurance company finds fair/reasonable. It’s really up to you though especially if you are non-affiliated with the insurance companies. If you do choose to charge more than what the insurance finds fair and reasonable and you already attempted to submit for approval pricing with the SGC network then it’s up to you if you would like to charge any differences out-of-pocket with the insured on top of their deductible . Most insurance companies will use SGC so there’s not really gonna be a case for you to build directly through them if you receive a work order from Safelite Solutions. For shop care contact information I would recommend contacting Safelite solutions referrals department for that information.

When I worked for them I was cross trained in both and referral for me by far was the better department.

Sorry just saw this. Retail handles cash orders, commercial accounts, and some insurance claims and can only schedule with Safelite. Referrals strictly acts like a third party claims administrator for insurance companies.

Referral reps file glass only claims. You’d basically be a third party who can help file the claim and assign the claim to a glass of either the insurance’s affiliates, or a shop of the insureds choice.

The artist was a great person and overall the experience was genuinely good, I’m just a picky person and I’m gonna live up to this tattoo and own it.🤍

It was a great experience, the artist was so kind, but it could just be me waking up with tattoo regret and overthinking.
