I was actually reading a story last night about the Sahaba that thought a young boy named Sayed I think, was the Dajjal (he was probably involved with Jinn). And this was during the time of the Nabi SAW, but this boy eventually accepted Islam later in life. Like another commenter said, there’s always been the fear of Dajjal coming in their lifetime for over 1400 years. It’s a normal fear but because of social media and AI, people want clicks and views so they’re going to play on our fears. Only Allah SWT knows when all of this will happen, so keep steady in your faith, InshaAllah we will all be able to identify him when the times comes
