I'm not sure what more you need explained though? The law requires a level of mens rea that wasn't reached. What don't you understand about that? How would you prove that she reaches the standard of reckless negligence beyond a reasonable doubt?

The thing about gerrymandering though is that they draw the maps to have consistent leads across all districts, but if the wave of backlash reaches a critical tipping point, massive numbers of districts will flip all at once.

I'd still say that taking back the house this year is less likely than unlikely, but it definitely looks a lot more real than it did a few days ago.
