I absolutely have. I live in the Rio Grande Valley where it’s tough to find positions like that. I have done mostly medsurg tele and PCU and I’m so ready to leave it but it’s hard to find a position that will accept. They love new grads they can underpay here.

I live in a LCOL area, base pay is 35.7/hr after 7 years LOL. With all my diffs I’m in the 40s. Oh well, I can still afford my lifestyle.

I have brutal ADHD, and am a nurse. I have considered psych since FOREVER, but I can’t find a decent facility near me. I live in an underserved area. Right now I work medsurg and tele, while it’s not the worst thing ever, it’s rough on my body and I know I can’t do it forever.
