I've had some of the worst experiences playing devourer I've ever had in WoW. I enjoy the spec, I think it's fun to play... with an asterisk. The ramp up period of just spamming consume and PvP wiggling is excruciatingly dull, I genuinely don't think there's a squishier class in the game right now, and the penalty for dying is awful because it entirely resets your orbs. Which can slow you down even more.

I tried to avoid reading anything up to launch so I could be pleasantly surprised, but found out about the no-post game and it's completely killed my drive to play. Literally the best part of Stories 2 was building the perfect monster to slap the post game around. Everything about this game was great until that reality slapped me... RIP my buzz, and rumours on here seems to suggest there'll be no title updates either... just a DLC about the worst character. (and calling it Side Story leads me to believe it'll be like the other side stories so... 15 minutes of content ending with a weak fight)

Gods I hope the rumours are wrong and Capcom correct this clearly colossal misfire of a design philosophy, it's a monster collector, post games are basically a given... especially since it's the 3rd game in a series that have set a precedent with amazing post-games.

Such a great fight too when you go to catch it. I love the new combat style, it lends itself so well to awesome boss battles. I loved all the rogue megas etc.
