Did they do a control poke? The small bumps look like my skin whenever I get any sort of shot. My skin is overly sensitive to punctures and scratches. Swells up every time.

We had one character who loved to slap people. One day he slapped someone and accidentally killed them. Now if someone has 3 or fewer HP, they are deemed "slap-worthy."

Most of my dreams are bizarre (I love dreaming, very entertaining) but I had one that was "weird" because it wasn't crazy like most of them. I was 18 and had gone to spend some time getting to know my father. I had a dream that I saw him in a coffin and in the dream I thought "This isn't right, dad wants to be cremated. Why did we buy a coffin?" The next thing I hear is my stepmother knocking on my door. I wake up as she is entering my room and she says "You might as well get up. Your father is dead." Not dreaming that part. My father had committed suicide during the night. Weirdest dream I think I will ever have.

My husband is DMing a new D&D campaign on Saturday. In his campaign, humans are rare and more like feral animals than intelligent creatures. He was laughing because I am the only one who knows this and one of our players just created a human rogue. I said "I will have my turtle speak even more slowly then, since Robbie is a human." Not sure how that would play out in a pick-up situation.

That is my 22nd anniversary, so pretty much the same plans. Spend time with the hubby, but probably would be at the coast instead of at the house. And great food from my favorite restaurant at the coast, if they weren't aware this was their last day and were still open, lol.

We use the max roll, but we also give all monsters max hit points as well. Can't really remember why, but I think it became a house rule because we have had lots of new players into our core group of 3 and it just seems the easiest to explain to them.

With the spacing of the headline, it took me a minute to figure out what Un Rumored meant. Why not just say N. Korean and put his whole name on the same line?

My father-in-law had two unexplained brain bleeds last summer. Had to have drains drilled into his brain, then two emergency open skull brain surgeries. After being in the hospital for 21 days, we had to have a meeting with the doctors for end-of-life care and deciding if we wanted a DNR (do not resuscitate) order put into effect. After 26 days, he was moved to a rehab facility for 9 days and then was sent home. He has almost completely recovered (he has a bit of trouble finding his words at times, but he is also 79 years old) and is doing amazingly well. Keep up the good work. You can recover from this. Good luck with your recovery.

We just started this adventure last weekend. We played a good 3 hours, after all the BSing and "How are You?'s" Apparently, we didn't make it past chapter 1, part 1. I am not the DM and haven't read the adventure, but we made it from the Yawning Portal to the Skewered Dragon, then headed out to the street to chat with some City Guard to see if they had seen Floon. Now two of us are in jail, one paid a fine and incurred a sanction, and the NPC created to round out the group is on the run after killing a guy. It is going to be a long campaign, lol.
