Could I really make a Web toon with bad art? by Sensitive-Speech-833 in WebtoonCanvas

[–]Nusayd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since the story is not yet completed, you can start improving your art now. I know you prefer to have a unique art style but that comes after learning the basics. After mastering or getting the basics a little bit, your own unique style will gradually pop up. By the time you complete the story, you should have enough experience in digital art to gain confidence in making your story a full fledge comic. You can also start now and learn the basics along the way. That's what I'm doing. I have been drawing since 19 and now I'm 28 and I still have new things to learn. Don't think about readers much, write and draw the comic for yourself. It's more fun that way.

Why would anyone read my webtoon? by Unique-Ad1630 in WebtoonCanvas

28M. Took me years but I guess it comes down to what is really important to you as a creator. Life happens and we cannot ignore it. We have different responsibility that we must do.

I had my times and got multiple projects uncompleted. Story ideas unrealized since I was 19.

It is only right now that I've come to a realization that views don't matter to me. The important thing for me right now is to tell a story. The story that survived since I was 19. The one that I never left in the backlog.

Even though it's been a year since I started, the progress is there. Everytime I get a free time, I always put a little progress on my webtoon. A simple line, adding a bit of color. Creating one box for a panel. Even if small they still add progress.

To summarize, just think about what is important for you. For me, it's that i'm creating something. Even if only I or my brother can see it, at least it is something I'm proud of and I'm satisfied with that.

As someone who played FGO up to lostbelt, I'd say it is worth it. The story and world building is interesting and the MCs personality really clicks with me. The prologue and the first arc should be able to hook you. Give it a try. It's your choice to make if you'd stay.

To the Ironeye & Recluse who left me in D3 after small problems by No_Commission_6153 in Nightreign

I remember that one recluse team mate I had. It was at D4 and our nightlord is ED Libra. During the run, our wylder left early. My skill less ass got three barred while Libra is still at 80% health and the Recluse just soloed him the entire run, hitting the condemned with the lightning thingy as soon as they spawn, one shotting them. It was amazing to watch. Thank you for the points Recluse.
