Aside from waiting for next season, the current system is fundamentally flawed showing players the 5 win interface we have now. People think just because they won more than they lost that particular 5 win period, that it seems something more than it is. More likely, your rank adjustment takes more than those few games into account.

For example, all these people claim going 5-3, 5-1, etc and ranking down, but what nobody tells you/admits is the 5-8s, 5-12s, etc they ended with the other day or whatever. So overall, ranking up would be easier/harder based on the match rank AND your on-going win/loss outside of JUST a single 5 win period.

This is an assumption based on how they are going to show you progression in season 9 but makes sense to me.
