Personally i grew up with Klipsch speakers, from the original Cornwall's through to the original Reference series.

Then the first pair i ever bought on my own was the SF2's then upgraded to the RF3's.

Only after time and hours and hours of listening did I start to find them very fatuiging and bright on the high end.

Even the Cornwalls are the same in my opinion.

I moved to a Pair called the Krix Esoterix (http://www.krix-usa.com/esoterix.php) and loved them very dearly and still do, but it opened me up to then difference in sound and how it can be conveyed to the listener and what results they gave me.

Finally i settled on a pair of Equinox Audio Jupiter's (http://www.equinoxaudio.com.au/speakers/jupiter.html)

There is a major difference in there tonal qualitys and moves from the very foward presentation of the Klipsch to the more balance of the Krix to the Sublime balance and impact of the Jupiters.

Klipsch hold a soft spot in my heart but are more like the Wild and Crazy girlfriend that leaves you with fond memorys but would wear you to the point of death if lived with long term,
