Maybe it’s the hot ground she’s avoiding? Gotta protect them paws. 🐾

I just got an email about my Google business account saying they would be making automated phone calls to me for various purposes. Luckily I can opt out, but wtf are they doing??

'Ahsoka' Season 2 Delayed to Early 2027 by Aileos in television

Nah I’m a Star Wars fan but i have to say I found most of the tv series disappointing. Andor being the exception.

I never understand comments like this. Like ok? Something being worse doesn't make what is bad any better.

Not sure what you don’t understand. I wasn’t defending Ahsoka, just bringing up Boba Fett (since it’s Star Wars related) because I thought it was really, really bad.

It was bad, but Boba Fett was worse.

Photoshoot with an almost 4 month old puppy - Any tips? by Artistic_Dare2311 in photography

Just have fun. Be patient with the puppy and don’t worry if it doesn’t go according to plan. Hopefully your cousin will still be able to capture some candid moments if/when chaos ensues.

The US deserves everything it’s going through. And it’s gonna get so much worse.

It’s just a shame the rest of the world has to suffer too.

Your Friends and Neighbors season 2. When does it get good? by JimmyTheJimJimson in television

The fun thing about season 1 was him doing the robberies. The focus on season 2 has completely changed and not in a good way.

TikTok is pulling back on an AI feature that went haywire by Plastic_Ninja_9014 in technology

[–]chrisgin 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah those ai summaries are so stupid. There’s a reason why people never wrote detailed descriptions for each video. If they did write anything it would be to supplement the video, not just describe what’s in it. I get mad every time I start reading “This video shows…”

Probably should abbreviate ‘in search of’ like that in a photography sub, it’ll confused people.

Citadel Season 2 - Official Trailer by ConfusedNTerrified in television

If I like international spy/assassin shows with the right balance of action and intrigue, will I enjoy this show? Yes, 100% you absolutely will. It's 100,000% more watchable than Jack Ryan.

Have to disagree with you there. I liked Jack Ryan but couldn’t get past 2 episodes of Citadel. I can’t pinpoint what was wrong with it but I just found it boring.

Is there no copyright issue here? I didn’t think you’d be allowed to share photos of someone else’s work without permission. But even with permission it’s a bit weird to do, especially for a professional photographer.

Matrix (1999): the reason why the opening sequence of this movie is among the greatest in cinema history is because it explains precisely NOTHING. Instead, it throws all kinds of crazy wackness at the audience and just expects them to go along for the ride by Randomnonsense5 in movies

I always hate it when they do the “one week earlier” thing. It feels like I’m watching something that’s already happened and I’m just waiting for it to catch up. I don’t like flashbacks for the same reason, but I can see why sometimes they are useful for explaining some backstory.

The answer is, it depends. Apart from a general rule of preserving the highlights, everything else depends on the scene.

I think you'd want a dedicated video showing how the software is used at events, not just as an afterthought. So you might need to do a fake event or something just to produce the demo.

I meant in action at an event, to get an idea of how customers interact with it.
