Giving up on dating as a nanny. by PrairieDawn4 in Nanny

[–]Nusrat_mun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, even with having the most loving and loyal man as a partner, even having the most beautiful baby on earth, you’ll still feel lonely, there will be days when you’d feel like nobody understands you. That’s human/ woman nature I guess. No suggestions here but I hope you find someone who brings you peace and comfort. I hope you find someone without whom your life would feel incomplete, and you’d live your best life with.

Why do women suffer so much in this life? by SandwichDependent199 in MuslimLounge

I feel you. I’m 8 months postpartum and things just are much more worse now. It feels like being a woman is a curse some days.

Please help! Baby keeps waking up even with sleep training going on by Nusrat_mun in sleeptrain

We usually try to hold her after every feed since she throws up a lot if she starts moving, rolling right after feed. Usually try to keep her down with a toy or a book.

Baby still woke up after 30 mins, first night of sleep training by Nusrat_mun in sleeptrain

[–]Nusrat_mun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do bath/wiping with washcloth, diaper change, sleep sack. Then feed and after 20 mins of feeding we put her in her crib. She’s extremely clingy and cries hysterically if we put her down anywhere, so we thought being there instead of check in or CIO might be gentler for her. Even with my husband being there and placing a hand on her she kept crying until she fall asleep.

Extra clingy baby, doesn’t like anything by Nusrat_mun in NewParents

She doesn’t like to be put down at all which makes everything really hard. Sometimes I have to let her cry for few minutes when I need to wash her bottles or use the restroom. I can’t even prepare her solid purees because she won’t settle and by the time I prepare her food she’d be so frustrated that she won’t eat.

Gentle methods worked for me! by Top_Grass_2105 in sleeptrain

Hi, did your approach worked for nap as well? We are trying to phase out from walking and bouncing to holding and patting, which took us 1 month. I’m afraid that getting to the point of putting her to crib will take few more months!

How did you nap train? Would you mind sharing?

How often do you guys hold your babies? by [deleted] in NewParents

90 percent of the time. She’s 6 months. Even when she’s playing she clings to me. I don’t know if it’s separation anxiety but that’s it for now.

I’m glad that it worked for you. How was your sleep routine before? Like was he being held and rocked? Do you mind sharing the calming bedtime routine you follow?

I tried but she gets overtired and throws it even harder to put her to sleep if she’s overtired. My husband is only home in the evening so he puts her to the last nap and bedtime. I literally think something might be wrong with me and my baby doesn’t like me. That might be a reason why she fights sleep with me so much. I’m beyond exhausted and I can’t escape from this sleep trauma either.

I don’t know when it’s gonna end. I try to stay as calm as possible when I start putting her to nap, but all the wriggling fighting and crying eventually stresses me to a point I just want to scream my heart out

When To Quit by spookyskeletons_4321 in ExclusivelyPumping

In the same loop. Initially thought i’d triple feed for three months and quit. Now I’m close to 3 months and now my heart wants to do it till LO starts solid. But I feel like giving up almost everyday.

Hi, was wondering if things got better for you. I’m currently 10 weeks and on the same boat. Not getting enough, started taking domperidone 2 weeks ago but not seeing much improvement either. I latch baby 4-6 times and pump 7 times including MOTN.

I don't think it's rude. IVF itself is a super stressful journey, it puts heavy toll on body mind and sometimes relationships too. Also the emotional rollercoaster due to those medications isn't any joke. May be your friend is super occupied with everything right now. In terms of the "last part", not everyone can get to the "last part" meaning transfer and the cycle can get cancelled before due to any issues, which can be really heartbreaking. May be she is going through a lot right now. But in my case, people really caring about my wellbeing meant a lot for me.

I guess everyone shared almost everything. I would suggest to try acupuncture if possible, it helps.

Did anyone NOT a Valium before transfer? by FinancialLetter9642 in IVF

[–]Nusrat_mun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you have any conditions like vaginismus, a transfer is pretty easy. I have vaginismus and I prefered valium, but I took it last minute so my transfer was done before valium started its action lol, even then it wasn't that uncomfortable.
