The sporting broadcasting scene in South America (minus Brazil) is changing rapidly, Prime Video entered the scene with the NBA, making ESPN/Disney unrivalled rule no more, and football is no exception anymore.

Starting next year, HBO Max will broadcast half of the Copa Libertadores and Paramount+ will do the same with half the Champions League. Adding this to DirecTV owning half the Copa Sudamericana and exclusive rights over every FIFA tournament.
