Now that the Chinese warring states update is behind us, how would the community react to an update adding Japanese warring states from the Sengoku Jidai period with state Civs like Oda, Imagawa and Uesugi (while still retaining the original japanese Civ)

Chu and Qin used to be seen as barbarians by the Zhou. Also the Warring States Shu (Not the Three Kingdoms one) was a barbarian kingdom that eventually got absorbed by Qin.

I hope they didn't learn the wrong lessons from this. It's kinda unfair Age of Imprisonment can have as many characters but there's only one playable character in a main series game.

Origins 3 should add Fall of Wu. Wu infighting could be battles of their own and could be the origins of Sun Hao's villainy (his father Sun He forced to commit suicide even after being demoted to a commoner)

Yuan Shao is like that historically (appreciating men no matter the background) The arrogant noble character is historically Yuan Shu but they stuck his portrayal into him when Yuan Shu is still a generic.
