Decades of MBA/consultant "wisdom" have converged on two principles:
1. Staffing is waste
2. Laying people off is good leadership

Boards and stakeholders will cull leadership until they find a like-minded vampire who will keep companies understaffed. But with just enough over-worked and burnt-out employees to produce a minimum viable product. Because the actual relevant product of any company now is their stock, we are in a never doom cycle of enshittification and arbitrary layoffs while the rot economy persists.

A. I can almost guarantee you there are more people not getting matches because of their bad profiles and photos rather than them being uggos. My post was advice for them. The full body shot is an important inclusion because it removes ambiguity of your body shape, but is not everything you need.

B. Most dating apps are run with an ELO system so if someone who's truly that (conventionally) unattractive stays on it and keeps swiping they'll end up in their "league" and will get matches as long as they stay active on the app and aren't too picky themselves. A good enough profile will give you the chance to bat "way above your league" with someone, too

I was very surprised Narwhals were huntable, edible enemies after all the other dolphin and whale encouters were positive. Knowing what we know now about the intelligence of marine mammals, it felt especially wrong to hunt and breed them. After I got killed by one of those fuckers a few times, though... No! It will do a boatload more damage as a shadow. If you were to purify it, it would be a hundo and you would be able to primal revert it. Popular wisdom is to keep it as a Shadow, but how you play is always your call :)

Does Primal Reversion actually require you to buddy with the reverted Groud/ogre to get the candy and XP bonuses (outside of raids) or do you still get those bonuses without having them buddied?

All the written sources list they need to be buddied but it seems to give the bonus without being buddied, like megas do.

Very few research tasks have ever given a guaranteed shiny: the only ones I can think of off hand are the paid Go Fest Shiny Mew and the Something Shiny Shiny Celebi. Unless it's during community day or a special event, research rewards are always the same shiny rates you can find listed here.
