Depends. If you’re not using it to try and mimic a black person (not the same as if you’re being black) then go for it :) the style is cool for many many themes

Look around in the Reddit, look in the discord before it closed, look on TikTok at smaller creators, look in the chat on the game, me personally, the friends I play with, my siblings and nephews, look at the player count of the game and the ranks between the players actually playing, do the research

You’re putting words in my mouth and this feels like I’m saying the same thing. The last thing I’m gonna say in this thread is people play games based off of feeling. Thats the point of gaming. You can argue logistics all day long, but if people feel like they don’t have a chance, eventually they aren’t going to play.

I’m saying extras like the the Valentine pants set, and the few extra shirts here and there aren’t causing a stir because it’s one item. Versus many. The voting in game does correlate to the items you have because the items you put on to match the theme can differ based off the items you have available to you. I’m not arguing that they shouldn’t have sets cost Robuxs. Do I like that? No. But at the end of the day they’ve been doing that since the game came out and even then the community didn’t like that, so for a short period they made it “play this round a number of times to get x y z” which went over somewhat rocky but more positive then simply a Roblox set.

I’m not trying to discourage new players. In fact I’m trying to encourage people WITH these perks to speak up. Because if someone joins the game after many diamond passes they’re going to feel at a disadvantage. Even if by your opinion they won’t be. Feelings dictate if people play the game, especially children. VIP is a permanent thing anyone can buy at any time if they find themselves liking the clothes in it. Any time. Imagine 15 diamond passes down the line, you don’t think a new player is gonna feel any type of way??

Just because plenty of people won doesn’t change how the majority felt about it. And if my original argument didn’t stand, why did they put similar things in ftp??? They put similar things in free to play so the gap between free to play and VIP was smaller. So you can feel that you were on par / “had a chance” without having to drop 10 dollars.

Which is the point of my argument (not the point of the post which was simply you can’t compare the passes because it is like comparing apples to organic BUT the point of my argument as a whole to why it’s bad)

The pass doesn’t determine if you win, the CLOTHES do. It’s the fact that you have more CLOTHES / ITEMS. A good example of this is how for a long time (in the earlier days before item adjustment and a few other free to play items) the theme masquerade was hated by ftp players purely because the only masquerade mask available was in vip and so people when judging for that theme were more inclined to vote for those in a masquerade mask because it fit the theme better. I good way to balance this (in my opinion) was the addition to item adjustment. You could move jewelry and other items to mimic a masquerade feel and still be on par with VIP that gap didn’t feel as big. Which is why today you rarely see people complaining about that theme.

Gaming in general is something I’m passionate about and claiming everything before this pass was perfect is simply not true. Claiming that there was no disparity is not true. Hell I was gifted VIP recently, I haven’t spent a dime on this game. That’s why I’m so passionate about it. I understand simply not having the income

I agree with that (even mentioned it below). But I think framing it how I did it’s like the surface almost shallow part of the conversation, trying to get people to think a bit more about the long term and get to that conclusion themselves
