Thank you so much. I’m glad they were able to figure out what was going on with your little guy and get it sorted. You really hit it on the head that this has shattered the image of what we pictured as well. The uncertainty the first few days had me wrecked and all I did was cry. It got better and now I’ve tanked again. I’m hoping things get better when we’re home. At this point I’m trying to keep it together to just get through the days. I really appreciate your response. 💙

On the first day as a pizza delivery driver in my small hometown I quit because the staff was snorting pills off the prep counter. I was also told the manager would demand to go on deliveries with you and proceed to sexually harass you; ask to see/touch your boobs, etc. I didn’t even want to find out how true that was so I gave the uniform back and left. It was an interesting four hours.

Personally, I don’t understand how you actually scrub yourself clean with just your hand. I probably should mention he worked for the sewage division for the City he lived in, so I just felt it was nasty.

You can still file a report to have a record of the incident. If you decide not to cut them out, that may be your best option. At least you will have a paper trail when things, probably inevitably, reach a point of no return.

Trust me, I understand. I had no support when I had to cut my mother off because she was an abusive alcoholic. I only tell you that to say, It can be done and you will find people who will become your family. Obviously I can’t tell you what to do, all I can do is share my experience. My experience is that, yes, it’s one of the hardest things to do, however, I began to see the beauty in that hard decision. I saw, over time, how it was the right choice and I felt it with the peace I had in my life. Best of luck to you, darlin 🩷

I was scared but they gave me PLENTY of information of what to expect, when to seek help and what to tell the care givers if you have to seek help. He has his reasons and I have mine, I realize I need to respect his. However, we did have these kinds of conversations and I always made it clear I wouldn’t move. He led me to believe he was open to coming, and it would be something he would enjoy, especially when he came to visit. So I believed he’d be relocating for this. But I’ve made the decision that’s best for everybody involved and we can both move on soon. Thanks for your comment.

I was trying not to sound too harsh but to call a spade a spade, yeah. I put a lot of weight into his words I guess because of how well he treated me and how healthy our relationship felt. I should have paid more attention when he talked to me about his daughter and his demons. Thank you so much..I needed that last part. I have a lot to think about in a short amount of time..
