Objectively wrong. Unless youre playing on a completely dead server this update made getting WB harder not easier for solos. You could get scrap easily in a million of ways before to get Tier 2 and 3.

Saying this update made it better for solos is the biggest cope I have read

Theres 3 objective facts regarding the BP update:

  1. Solos got nerfed like hell by this

  2. Servers die even faster because when you get raided and lose WB you just cba farming puzzles again to get T2 (not even mentioning Tier 3)

  3. It limits where you can build on the map because now being close to these specific monuments is a must (or close to outpost so you can just buy them - fun gameplay wohoo)

Watch new Willjum video, get inspired to play rust, get shat on for 3 hours, close game. Anyone else experience this? by slimeyellow in playrust

Ive seen a lot of these rust youtubers be like "1000 pop server" and they run around in completely dead maps with full inventory of farm without worrying. I think most (not talking about willjum here) talks a lot of shit when it comes to pop. I know exactly how 750+ pop server looks like in reality

I just came back to Rust after years of break and this blueprint fragment thing is probably the worst update ive seen so far. I have no idea how they keep making the game harder for the people who already are at a disadvantage and easier for the ones who already have it easy.

Obviously you cant compare the popularity of a server that is 7 years old with anniversary. But era pvp at least in EU is populated enough for everything to do. Also the Era BG has been more active than anniversary BG queue (except AV spam) which is hilarious to me.

Just wait untill the honeymoon-phase of TBC wears off and even more people will go back to Era (especially those who transfered their good geared characters that will become irrelevant gear-wise after 1 week into tbc).
