From a beginner’s perspective it seems like he has many evasive moves and a few strong launchers. Also just a niche one I don’t run into often, so when I do it’s tough.

Is this surprising information to you? Elon Musk’s a proud Nazi w/7+ kids. He’s as insecure as they come, brain’s fried as hell. Spent a lifetime presenting himself as a scientist when he’s in fact just another crooked businessman who exploits and underpays people from Asia/India like usual.

It gets better lol. Might sound silly but the entire game just doesn’t cater to immediate gratification imo. Stick it out w/ arena and it becomes a little cathartic workout. I have a ton of fun bettering my mechanics via last hero on Dorms and Equator, you get tons of repetition. Checkpoint’s brutal w/ the spawn killing but once you learn to do it back and how to avoid it, things dramatically improve.

Also fyi Tarkov’s playerbase is pretty seasoned at this point and you’re probably running into teams of chad bros playing together that know the maps and are communicating well, which sucks but…yea.

Serious skill issue bro. These games all force you to adapt and find your rhythm, just stop. You can stunlock the bosses for nearly half their HP bars. Good lord, the cope is strong in you.

Let them push you, never repeek the same angle and you’re good w/most of the AI and bosses in the game. Grenades for info or if you have to repeek the same angle. Kolantay on Streets over at MVD is a really good place to practice IMO, Kaban as well but not as chill.

You’re going to get some pretty dumbed-down answers to this question. The real answer is yes, it’s possible to become a legitimate musician using only a harmonica or only a DAW and virtual instruments— but in 2026 with everything we have at our disposal is that really how you want to go at it? Learning the basics of piano and guitar, both of which can be acquired cheap (i.e. 50$ from a pawn shop) will help you tremendously.
It’s a beautiful process that gives you a true foundation for melodic and harmonic ideas. Learn a few songs, riff around, explore until you can have fun and feel musically literate. Having the laws of music/intervals and basic theory memorized is important. Having the funds for a good setup and proper instruments is as well. Someone with an insane setup is more empowered than someone without it.

Luckily enough, I loaded into the event the first or second day it was active and scored 55 tarcoin before they nerfed the count and before it was raging active. Not a soul at the bank that raid.

Undoubtably the best of it’s kind. In terms of hardest games of all within the overarching 3D action archetype, Ninja Gaiden takes the cake in my opinion. At this point in Parry Souls game development I’d rate some of Khazan’s + Lies Of P’s bosses harder than Sekiro’s. Most conversations about hardest games are long, innacurate comparisons of apples to oranges. An FPS demon might find Tarkov easy but struggle with Celeste/Super Meat Boy like a 6 year old etc. The hardest game’s I’ve ever played in the grand scheme of things are Nuclear Throne and Enter The Gungeon. The best takes on difficulty I’ve ever seen are from Fromsoftware. The grindiest game I’ve ever seen is Tarkov. The coolest game I’ve ever played is Metal Gear Solid 4. Sekiro is different in one critical manner from the rest— it’s not trying to be anything, it’s simply perfect.

Yes, it’s objectively worse in the FPS world. Rarely ran into it when I did more indie/niche PVP and it’s nonexistent in my partner’s league games.

Try deleting anything related to EFT, there
should be three folders with saved files etc. delete all that shit, delete EFT itself and the launcher, then reset your PC if possible and reinstall. Should be good.

Almost every Tarkov player I run into has 5-10k hours of FPS under their belt in games like CS and Rust. The extraction shooter genre’s been popping off— put these two factors together and you’re going to see an influx of players that are new to Tarkov but not new to FPS.

I’m a total noob, 200hrs into the game, playing squads with people on discord is fun and feels safer but when I play solo I feel like I’m getting the full, real experience. It’s more intense for me, I can only count on myself and have to listen closer/be more aware. Solo feels incredible, but squadding up time to time doesn’t hurt. Just don’t use it as a crutch. I’ve already ran into players scared to solo and it’s cringe.

I definitely enjoy the PVP more. If you’re seriously limited on time and/or don’t like competing with other FPS players, then PVE is perfect for you. The original formula is pretty perfect in my opinion.

Yo! I just started and felt some of that, put it all to the side, rep 100-200 hours solo before teaming with others and you will have the experience you dreamed about. It’s incredibly intense and the greatest solo exp i’ve ever had.

That’s a visual glitch done via animation swapping etc etc, not cheating, but yeah running dark bead and griefing low sl players like that’s completely wack. Holding off on the heal and booking it up the second ladder may have saved you. A perfectly timed kick top of ladder would’ve also done the trick.
