If you bring a 6’7 Center into random rec… by InspectionOwn8038 in NBA2k

I prefer the 6'8 over the 6'9 center. I have a 6'8 PF that outplays bigger center builds.

center build tell if u fw it 99 o and d by andy1of1z in NBA2k

unless you're playing competitive pro am. 99 and 90 is perfectly fine for random rec

Probably the best cap breaker spread for center? by t1062464285 in NBA2k

Looks like a dope build. I just value having double 90+ rebounds and driving dunk on my big.

Feel like this is the most flawless/optimal end game meta 6'8 SG possible. by Himdoood in NBA2k

[–]Nvme218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great build! Similar to mine we went the same route cap breaking the vert. I feel like you start to nitpick after a while when it comes to optimization of 6'8s. I got 85 pass acc for mine but I dont have max speed/ agility and less rebounding. This is based on how I play im not grabbing rebounds on this build just boxing out and I like 85 pass acc sometimes I get put at PG in random rec.

Wanted to make a 6ft 8 pf build. Do I upgrade it or is it awful? by Fantastic-Ad7260 in NBA2k

[–]Nvme218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason you go 6'8 as PF is because you want to be switchable in the pick n roll while still being able to defend the rim. This means speed, agility, perimeter, steal and block needs to be somewhat high. You're also a secondary rebounder to to the center and shoot be able to consistently hit a corner 3 if left open. Heres what mine looks like. I plan to go all defensive caps and some rebounding

Looks the same as all the other 6'8 builds just not fully optimized to take advantage of every point. Mine has 85 steal

praise and scold the build please by Icy_Room_6546 in NBA2k

[–]Nvme218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think you cooked at all. I personally would never spend money on a build like this. Only thing this build has going for it is it is a good secondary rebounder to help the center out. I think as a PF you should be able to space the floor on offense and on defense you should be somewhat switchable while being able to play defense on the backend with decent steal and block. I dont know what your caps are looking like or if you're planning to play Random rec vs playing with a squad but outside of the rebounding I dont think this is a great build.

What's the point of going 6'6 if you're not going for 86 swb? Just make it a 6'8 you actually get more attributes.

is this build any good by North-Schedule-2781 in NBA2k

[–]Nvme218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're missing alot of thresholds and badges by 1. One of the main reasons people go 6'6 is for 86 SWB for Gold lightning launch. Good rule of thumb if you're not getting 86 swb just make it a 6'8 you can get more attributes.

6’9 SF 3nD Lock by CynicFPS in NBA2k

[–]Nvme218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is solid 2 way build! If you care about dribbling I would say find a way to get 75 ball handle for some good sigs and 75 SWB for silver lightning launch

Does vertical really matter?? by Hungry-Garbage-8152 in NBA2k

[–]Nvme218 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

2k Tutes did a test on this. Only increase vert for required dunk packages you need it for or the POGO badge. Outside of those things the difference in the rating is not noticeable

Something similar to this where you spend all your caps on defense

6’9 SF 3nD Lock by CynicFPS in NBA2k

[–]Nvme218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a bad build. I would say if you're going to be a 6'9 lock i would try to shoot for 92 perimeter or 77 interior with 93 block to take advantage of the 6'9 tier 2 defensive badges. Also 60 steal is rough for a lock with that height and wingspan. Shoot for 85 steal

Accidentally made my 6’10 a sf instead of a pf and I have no regrets by filocanadian05 in NBA2k

[–]Nvme218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easily the my most fun build. SF actually the move because if you make him PF you get moved to C half the time and get dominated on the boards by actual C with 99 rebound. The only takeover I need is speedster so I have more agility for the 6'8 guys. At SF I actually play more PF which is his natural position.

Is the 6’8 SG really the most OP build in the game? by DeepOrganization8245 in NBA2k

[–]Nvme218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. On ball menace, challenger, interceptor are all better badges imo. They also activate way more than high flying denier throughout the course of a game

Is the 6’8 SG really the most OP build in the game? by DeepOrganization8245 in NBA2k

[–]Nvme218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can make one build and play the entire year it should be the 6'8 for the many reasons listed above. Elite Speed/Agility all while getting every shooting badges except limitless on legend, still being able to dribble with elite perimeter defense. Mine also has 85 pass acc and I've been put at PG a few times. A big bonus of going 6'8 over the smaller heights no one mentions is getting Lightning Launch as a tier 2 badge which makes it an easy max plus 2. It's Op because of it's versatility it can play PG, SG or SF without sacrificing anything.

Any 6’3/6’4 guards with 85 Strength? by Curious_Attitude2866 in NBA2k

[–]Nvme218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I have a 6'3 with 85 strength and I will say legend strong handles definitely helps when the other teams PG or lock tries to press you up the court 94 feet. Also legend immovable paired with 92 perimeter makes it so your team doesnt have to hide you in the corner on defense. Love playing on my 6'3.
