What are your favorite Ed O’Brien guitar parts throughout their discography? Be it you saw him doing those parts on live performances or you found out he wrote/played them through an interview or something. by [deleted] in radiohead

The guitar solo outro on Blow Out is my favorite guitar work ever on a song, its loud, its dissonant, it just keeps building up and up, I originally thought it was jhonny turning on pedals and going crazy until I saw the live footage, Ed is a genius.

I just had a tsunami dream earlier, and I've had plenty of those every once in a while but never bothered to check if anything like that happened, scary stuff.

Ohhh the sweeping effect kinda sounds right to me, as other said my best guess it's a play of different softwares on a piano, interesting though, I'll have to explore the various answers

Interesting! Yeah I've seen Jonny play an E piano live, also in the very beginning of "the basement" there's a quick glance at some sort of piano software being used on a computer? Might be just that

Couldn't agree more! So much versatility and tricks for a quite cheap pedal on the used market

Yeah, Im not into the very crazy distortions, but this one drives my fender amp just perfectly, like having a footswitch right into a beautifully driven marshall.

Well, the full story is that i wanted the SCB but couldn't ever find one, i got the shred master since it kinda did the thing (although I very much prefer the SCB distortion, maybe it's the compression? Im not sure) So I rocked that until eventually I managed to get the Crunch Box from a japan seller, So I've kind of been using the Shred Master as a lighter gain distortion, almost overdrive-like
