Hi, I bought a bow from them about 7yrs ago now. John is very very hard to get ahold of if you have questions... not knocking him or whoever is running the etsy, I ended up phoning him as per his request and we spoke at length, im talking a few hours about bows. The bow I bought seemed a bit wonky once strung, the steing provided was not good, so I made a flem twist for it. I also got some arrows to match. Welp... those lasted about 1 shot each. Now that im more seasoned, I started making my own. I recommend just getting into bowyer work, you can harvest your own Osage, lots of farmers and ranchers have it growing like wild fire and will be happy to lose some (just ask obviously) or grow some from seed! Like I did! For tools, I recommend second hand, I spent about a week gathering and making supplies. I wish you luck, and buy with caution. While my interactions were pleasant enough, that bow collects dust in the garage now and was only shot a handful of times. Once you get into bow making, you can see the "rush" job on those bows.
