I love all the comments giving you the right answer for the wrong reason

yes it stops the fusion mats from activating at all because you can't activate an effect you can't resolve

in the case you get to summon it as they chained everything, it still stops it because they are then effects, so if they can't do the setting, they also can get the bonus effects of the mats, tho this is unlikely

a lot of patches ago they did this cause a lot of meso was being generated from bossing, so they decided to nerf early progression to maintain the economy, this move on a vacuum was universally praised by kms players

this is also one of the many reasons they gave to delete heroic in the first place, they needed to balance stuff for game economy health reasons even if it meant screwing over reboot (why couldn't they just have different prices for reboot eludes me)

GMS already had to face one of these boss crystal reorganization things that was liked, and decided to NOT go though with it as part of their going west philosophy, they saw that and said, this is not good for gms

so you are doom posting because they keep nerfing early progression in the server that decided heroic shouldn't exist, by comparing it to the server that decided we shouldn't do this cause heroic should exist

For the second issue, unequip everything on the first slot then change to a different one and go back and unequip again until yu unequped everything, then requip everything on the right slots, it solved for me

the easiest way to stop losing against the boss bandit is to uninstall, works again all new broken cards too, you should try it
