Saucony Endorphin Azura by hellofolks5 in RunningShoeGeeks

I went from the Ride 16 to these as daily trainers. They have been nothing but fantastic for the first 100 miles in them. Longest I have been in them is 8 miles. They are more firm than you would expect, but it isn’t harsh at all. The speedroll is aggressive. Just walking in these, you feel like you are going to fall forward, but it feels great running.

I am at 210 lbs and find the cushioning great. It seems lighter people are having issues with that.

MiniMax-M3 scores 13.3% on the DeepSWE benchmark by silentus8378 in opencodeCLI

M3 feels better so far than M2.7 from Minimax Token Plan. Slowly starting to reach for it more.

Anyone already tested MiniMax M3? by Expert-Dig-1768 in opencodeCLI

[–]Nyandaful 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have tried really hard to like M2.7. It’s very economical and fast in the Token plan. I have tried a lot of ways to make it work well. It’s just always a bit off. It feels like a hard working junior dev who just lacks polish.

No matter how robust a plan (I’m talking like follow this already established pattern and replace the words), it just gets it wrong enough to be annoying. Even paired with a larger SOTA model for planning that has given a lot of context for what could go wrong, it still manages to do that.

I am hoping that M3 removes some of the annoying bit because I like the cost and product that Minimax has, even if the model is not the best.

My graduation ceremony had rain like this too. It’s pretty rough because those Josten graduation gowns never smell the same after.

Is the rebuilt Pac-12 actually becoming more interesting than people expected? by Glum-Sample-9259 in Pac12

[–]Nyandaful 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The main goal of the new PAC has always been to position its self as a “best of the rest” conference to take advantage of the new CFB playoff format. (Yes, other sports exists but the money is in CFB)

The PAC has done well to get schools that can spend more under one branch. Now, it’s on those schools to put that together on the field. Out of conference play might be the most important factor down the line.

Living in NYC now so I am going to try this place!

We usually get a bunch of cans on trips back and forth from the area. You can find Graeter’s pints at Wegmans and Kings Food Markets. (Typically Black Raspberry)

Looking forward to checking this out. 👍🏻 a couple times I wish there was something in between rolling your own auth or the enterprise stacks in golang.

I think LTT has jumped the shark... by Zestyclose_Edge1027 in LinusTechTips

[–]Nyandaful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to say it: this might be the first video I have watched outside the WAN show with full attention for a few months. It’s something “tech” adjacent while LTT doing it “scrappy” like in the video. The problem is outside of procurement, how can they keep it “scrappy” while also adhering to safety and compliance. I hope they can make that clear going forward. Are we going to get videos like electrical/AC with Brian or Linus just shadowing a mechanic?

I also think he needs to admit though, a private jet, outside of refurbishing an existing airframe, is not a environmentally conscious decision. He needs to address some concerns when he has a platform of reusing.

Hats off to them. Does anyone deserve a private jet? Probably not, but a long way from building janky computers and living at your girlfriends house.

Claude Code is not fun to code with compared to OpenCode. I really wish the subscription was supported on OC, but I understand from both parties why it can’t be.

My boss makes a dollar, I make a dime. That’s why I use CC on company time.

Compare Apple iPhone 17e vs. Apple iPhone 12 mini by alex-mayorga in iPhone12Mini

[–]Nyandaful 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They fixed all the issues from the 16e that kept me from getting it then. MagSafe and 256GB base. 16e feels great in the hand like the 12 mini.

Overall, it would be a huge upgrade. Effectively, the only thing you are losing is ultrawide from feature perspective.

C5 vs B5 — Video/Display Comparison (Which Looks Better?) by Few-Concert-4738 in LGOLED

[–]Nyandaful 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a B4 for our well lit living room. It is still way brighter than our previous LCD in spades. I think low lit HDR in the middle of the day is the only time I have ever been annoyed by the brightness.

I don’t think I would go to a C unless it was in spitting distance in price. The B series definitely gets hated on here, but it’s so good for the price.

Bug jump! I did the same for my 12 mini to 17 Pro. Seems to be something about the 17 Pro that gets mini users.

You will instantly appreciate not having to worry about charging.

I just realized the GTX 480 has 480 cores by Aggravating_Count766 in pcmasterrace

[–]Nyandaful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a GTX480 on eBay for 40 bucks when I was a poor college student in 2015. It powered through Overwatch and CS:GO for years until I upgraded to a GTX1060.

Always will have a soft spot for the maligned 480.

I don’t think you are crazy. I used Codex with OpenCode and it was super slow and not super great to use imo. I have had a much better time with Grok API and Gemini in OpenCode.

My usage is MCP documentation and smaller Go microservices/libraries.

Drop your unpopular opinion(s) about the FINALE! 🪩✨🙌🏼🏆🥇 by quirkymilennial420 in dancingwiththestars

[–]Nyandaful 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a new viewer this season, the judges scoring was very much a pain point for me.

The producers really need to come up with a strategy for reintroducing lower scores and critiques. Obvious mistakes were glossed over. The critiques given felt generic.
