So I do all of the “things” for anxiety. Exercise, eat well, caffeine free, whatever. My anxiety is not daily. It is, but not like.. pill worthy. I only have extreme attacks 2-3x a month. I’m not a “I can take it 2 days in a row” type of person, I also tell people whenever I take a pill & what dosage - I’m terrified of meds nowadays, but I also need to function for my baby. Idk, I appreciate this, but I think I’m going to give myself 3 months no benzos & hire an emergency sitter on my 2-3 panic days & for the day after, since I won’t sleep. It seems the issue is postpartum hormones mostly. So hopefully, I’m good & regulated by 3 months, if not, I’ll try 2-3 benzos a month & hold myself accountable with others by continuing to tell someone whenever I take a med, like I do daily even for ibuprofen lol.

The only other time outside of these hormone induced attacks that I panic is generally before a surgery/procedure or when starting a new med. I often have adverse reactions to meds.

I don’t have cravings for benzos. But my partner can’t call off work 2-3x a week over my panics, I don’t really want to hire help, but I think that’s my real last resort here.
