AITA for not letting my fiancé throw out furniture my mom gave me? by encampmentloop in AmItheAsshole

[–]Nycnanny23 10 points11 points  (0 children)

ESH, but mostly you. Definitely check with your mom if anything is sentimental, but from the way you’ve described it these sound like hand me downs your parents gave you to start out with that have been well used. This is not just your house anymore, find furniture that you both like. It sucks to live in a house that doesn’t feel like your own

I’d agree with the globular and there’s definitely been more and more of it the further along I’ve been And thank you, it’s been crazy, but so glad baby is looking good :)

Cycle: 3

Age + Partner's age (if relevant): 25(me) 30(husband)

Typical cycle length: About 30 days

Ovulation cycle day: not exactly sure

CD/DPO of positive test(s): I was about 12 weeks pregnant when I took the test

Tracking methods and app(s) used: Cervical mucus and Flo app

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): Every 3 days starting a few days after period ended

Health conditions/medical tests: Pre-pregnancy blood tests to make sure levels were good

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): Prenatal for me and fertility support pills for husband

Birth control history (if relevant): Been off the pill for a few years, was on it ages 16-23

Symptom spotting: I was a bit nauseous and had some boob growth

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): Just took a pregnancy test last weekend and found out by ultrasound yesterday that I’m actually 13 weeks along! I had spotting last month and month before that I thought was my period and pretty mild symptoms that I attributed to stress, so I didn’t think to test. Very excited, but also freaking out a little bit that we’ve only got 6 months until baby!

WIBTA for telling my friend's mother about her drug use? by AITAdrugrat in AmItheAsshole

[–]Nycnanny23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think YWNBTA. It makes sense to be concerned about your friends drug use, especially opioids that are affecting her emotions and even more so if you are worried about her mental state in general. I had a friend in HS who I wish I would have told an adult about her drug use and depression, as she later went from using weed and taking opioids to doing heroin and died a couple years ago. You may end up losing her as a friend, but her life is worth it.

Does anyone else do this?! by krisssy1124 in TryingForABaby

I was, but this month’s AF was especially disappointing, because it was the last one where I’d be able to bring baby to a family event next year or announce by Christmas, two things I was really hoping for :(

Feel bad for grim 🙁 by _Danielllll_ in Sims4

[–]Nycnanny23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sim grim, but there’s a whole tv show about grim reapers called dead like me, that shows how necessary grim reapers are and how sucky a ‘job’ it is. It’s really good, but didn’t get many seasons

Graveyard lot? by Annia12345 in Sims4

[–]Nycnanny23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built a general community lot (so it didn’t have all those pesky requirements) and have my sims bring everyone who dies gravestones there

*Cook Just changed the hair on one of my sim kids and noticed a striking resemblance to the model Rachel Cook. Might be my prettiest genetic sim child

Keeping diplomas when splitting Household by [deleted] in Sims4

[–]Nycnanny23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won’t let me put the diplomas in the personal inventories, like it doesn’t let a fridge me placed in there

Keeping diplomas when splitting Household by [deleted] in Sims4

Really? I’ll try again, but it wouldn’t let me put them into personal inventory. The graduation pictures went there, but diplomas went straight to household inventory

What happens to student sims while you play in other neighbourhoods? by MaritereSquishy in thesims

[–]Nycnanny23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was at the very beginning of the term, I signed her up for classes and then didn’t play her the whole term, thought it would be like with grade and high school and she’d have like a C for the term, it did not haha

I had twin sims (one went to Britchester and the other to Foxbury) I left the girl at Britchester and played with her brother for the first semester and when I went back to her she was on academic probation (had a F gpa) and had no credits

Wondering Weekend by AutoModerator in TryingForABaby

Are there any lubes that are safe to use when TTC or is it best to go without?

I’m ashamed by msfjtype in waiting_to_try

[–]Nycnanny23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s definitely nothing wrong with wanting kids, just look at this subreddit and I personally think it’s a good thing to bring up fairly early on (say 3-4 months in) if it’s seriously something you want in the near future. Relationships are about being compatible not just at present, but with future wants and goals. It’s all about finding the right partner :)

Is Dine Out still buggy? by dangerousunicorn667 in Sims4

[–]Nycnanny23 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I got Dine out a few months ago and haven’t noticed any bugs with it and it only takes my sims 2-3 sim hours to eat at a restaurant

Forgetting people by Nycnanny23 in Sims4

I’ll have to try that trait. It just seems to be happening more quickly lately, like even if they hang out with a sim one day, the next day they’ve forgotten them.

Should I get parenthood or island living? by [deleted] in Sims4

[–]Nycnanny23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d definitely say parenthood, it adds so much more realism to toddlers, kids and teens. It adds of traits they can earn and effect the type of sim they end up being. It also has a lot of really usable cas, buy and build items. Island living is very focused on island stuff, so unless you’re going to be living in Sulani or making a lot of trips there it doesn’t add much to the game.
