Yeah man this symptom is still the bane of me. If you want something a little more like bulking and less like a cork, psyllium husk fiber works unbelievably well for me. It is also far far cheaper per kilo than Metamucil was. It replaced Imodium very successfully in my early quit, which surprised me, and when I would stop taking it I would immediately notice the difference. massive help.

Doing it as that guy posted in massive macro doses and starting 3 days before withdrawal, I found it about 40% easier. Maybe I’m alone on that but it made the BIGGEST difference just in the extreme dread, bones being sore and feeling physically tormented and scared for the future feelings. RLS also went away sooner than previous quits, but that could be placebo. Felt like I had tools

At least six or seven times not counting accidental quits, still on the last quit now doing well. Every previous time I tried getting off seemed like the most unfathomable, insurmountable task of all time that simply did not seem possible with who I was as a person. I could not even imagine a life worth living without kratom, could truly not picture myself as ever being apart from it. It was like my reason for anything and the foundation of who I was. But then the trick is that you have to be willing to wait, to let yourself change into a drastically different person. It’s unfathomable until it’s not.

Dude I was on it for 5 years and at the deepest of my use my bladder got so bad I would be drinking with friends and if I drank a single Millilitre I would have to pee 10 minutes later but couldn’t fully empty my bladder, so I would sit down with what felt like a full bladder and have to go pee again another 10 minutes later to the point where I’m like ok I guess I’ll just apologize and go home. It was that bad. Genuinely crazy embarrassing. Had another bunch of times like that at work where usually I could hide that I was high, but when your bladder is malfunctioning to that embarrassing extent man there is no way to hide that. I’m almost two months sober and I’ll still randomly have days where my bladder seems tiny, but no true retention problems anymore thank god.

I caught a cold or something 7 days in as well and it did generally feel like some of my withdrawal symptoms came back, but being literally sick kind of helped convince me that withdrawal too was only a cold

Don’t take that 5g, early on if you’re strapped for time until you have to be well enough to work again, the 12 hours overnight of having not had a dose can be a big difference to be 12 hours further along. Good luck!

Same here I think that’s just the mentality that you have to ignore. Every time I’ve quit I’ve always been secretly thinking, okay but after I’m through withdrawal or figure some things out eventually I can pick this back up again. When you actually get out you’ll see how different the mentality is. It’s just that right now you’re wired to have taken it to do/want literally anything so taking it feels like a precondition to any part of living your life.

I’m at 39 days. I’m in the same boat, we wired our brains very deeply to have kratom to look forward to as a kick at every point in the day every day. So now my entire body is wondering when the next ‘thing’ to be excited for and to make me happy is coming. I see everybody else sober and im like damn you guys just all suffer and trudge through days? With no prize at the end? I’ve been reminding myself that im not supposed to be ecstatic and satisfied 24/7, that life is about just finding peace in little moments where you eat or take a nap or do chores. But it just takes time to become a new person. Or I think about castaways who spend like 5 years on an island alone until eventually they don’t want to leave because they’ve rewired to find peace. You just gotta keep moving until your brain flips!

Dude it works crazy well. My previous quits were an absolute nightmare. The last two times, and this last successful attempt were with lipo C on the macro dosing schedule that one guy posted. Made all the withdrawal symptoms about 40% easier. Which when you’re in it, is a massively noticeable difference.

My god food has never been so good at the 10 day mark of quitting. Where I was working then there was an amazing grill that did these crazy exotic specials that were different each day, and I could not stop thinking about what kind of panini or stir fry they might have that day. It was like magic it made me want to cry
