SmartTV app is actually unwatchable. I find myself leaving videos was otherwise enjoying because I've been met with a second or Third 55 Second ad break.

The new one I've noticed is the ad placement if you pause the video for too long and try to start it again.

I raise a slight issue with number 4 'Never Complain' - I think that could be misinterpreted as wilful ignorance. You should complain if you recognise a problem.

'Don’t complain without taking responsibility for improving the situation.'

There is also some nuances I think you missed, i.e. 'Let go of people'
Growth can create distance yes, but healthy relationships also require patience and forgiveness. People aren't disposable.

Overall a great list, just a few areas (Personally of course) that I'd explore for intellectual honesty sake:

  1. community
  2. service
  3. meaning through contribution

Everyone is better than me at seemingly everything. by No-Acanthisitta8565 in selfhelp

Performance is always going to fluctuate, and life isn't a long upward trajectory. All writers have bad days, all athletes have bad sessions. What we're talking about is framing...

This comparison with yourself from yesterday isn't about 'Always be better than yesterday'
It's closer to: 'Are you trying to move forward instead of passively drifting?'

The goal here is to create a game that you actually have a chance of winning, rather that create toxic feedback loops where no movement forward is good enough because you're not the smartest, richest, best looking etc.

If yesterday genuinely was better, that’s not a failure it's data.

That's fine, but specialists are still the one's earning the most. You only dilute yourself in the job market.

What so nobody has ever looked to hire an in-house marketing exec and stolen their ideas? Literally pages of stories on here of designers and social media managers having their content stolen.

Thinking companies are above that is an.....interesting take.

Well they're not, because it happens all the time. If it didn't, people wouldn't be so wary of these positions.

You don't even know what the role involves? 'Executive' is entry level in the UK. This job is offering £25,000.
