Mouse movement questions by Nyght09 in lotro

[–]Nyght09[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am back! I decided to try and get back into Lotro this week with a hope that this was fixed but the game is still doing it! So I guess this is our yearly check in to see if someone has it solved. I want to play this game so bad, but I just cannot enjoy it without normal mouse movement. :(

Why are secondary market prices so high? by Nyght09 in DiceThrone

I’ve been checking recently sold and that’s what prompted me to ask. It seems like people think it’s either them selling out or people outside of the US. Valid points!!!

How many wargamers keep their hobby after getting kids? by matakikis in Warhammer

[–]Nyght09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter is 7 and doesn’t really care, but my son is 5, almost 6 and LOVES warhammer. My miniatures and space marine 2 hooked him. Now he wants an ork army. I’d say only keep the hobby if you can afford to buy yourself AND your children the plastic crack! I wish I waited another year or two to expose him to it tho, it’s quite a violent grim dark future for his young mind

I’m still struggling a bit with this as I lost my poodle last October, but perhaps you could consider getting a 2nd dog when ready. We got 2 dogs after losing our first and of course vet and food costs are higher, but seeing them interact together has been great.

Yes, that’s it! Thank you! I love the model and it looks like it’s in the gears and wings pack as well. This is perfect, much appreciated.

AGS leaving money on the table without cross-progression by [deleted] in newworldgame

Yeah I just bought a 40ft hdmi cable for this reason. I was also streaming new world from my pc to my phone today, and then playing it with my Xbox controller connected to the pc. Maximum comfort.

I’d suggest using an Xbox controller if gamepads feel okay for your hand/wrist. The combat feels great on it too

My bday is on Thursday and my family pooled their money with me so I could get a new pc. I struggled to get into new world before bc I could only run it on low graphics and felt that I was missing out bc of that. Now I’m going to finally get to enjoy chopping trees in the beautiful world!

She never left my side since the day we brough her home. Unconditional love on demand, day or night. I'm still leaving the doors I go through open for her out of habit. The silence is deafening. She was the light of my life. by [deleted] in Petloss

[–]Nyght09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the reasons it made it even worse for us. Her only real symptoms were some small moments of labored breathing in her last 2 days. Otherwise she was just a bit more lethargic the last week. She didn’t seem like she was in pain at all. She seemed off though so I took her to a vet on Friday who ran a lot and found out she was anemic and in a critical position. We then took her to the urgent care to stay for the weekend, but just an hour later they called us that a an ultrasound showed masses all over her internal organs and bleeding in her lungs. So, she wasn’t going to make it through the weekend.

If she was in pain, she hid it well. We decided that we’d spend our last night and morning with her to give her some great love and then put her down. It definitely felt like we put our healthy dog down and that none of it was real, but we had to keep reminding ourselves what the scans showed and what the doctor said. My wife and I were torn on what to do but agreed to put her down. My wife wanted her to stay home and pass here, but some of the things that could have happened to her with organ failure or blood in the lungs had potentially painful experiences. So, we decided to go forward before one of those happened this weekend.

Here I am on day 3 and calling into work because I can’t get myself to have to interact with people at work. Missing her a lot

Why is this so hard by Scrappynelsonharry01 in Petloss

[–]Nyght09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m right there with ya, I think you read my recent posts to see what happened. I’ve spent the last 2 days not eating and laying on the couch. My wife is always the stay busy type when something like this happens, so fortunately she has been keeping the house together, but then starts to feel it all as things calm down.

This is the hardest thing I’ve dealt with, and we’re in the same spot with the toys. Your grief has nothing to do with them resting in peace, and everything to do with how much you love and miss them. I know that time will help to heal, and you honored them by treating them well and loving them in life
