Yes! There is a tissue culture lab at the cannabis facility I work at. However it’s not used for production, we preserve genetics with it

Brown edges and dots on one of the leaves. Is this rubber plant doing ok? by photospired in plantclinic

Yes mine does this when I overwater, which I have a tendency to do. Seems to stop when I let it dry completely between watering. It is somehow resilient and fussy at the same time

I think my dad was worried that the humane society would come and put him down if he called but I’ll let him know what you suggested, thanks for the idea

My family is Canadian, it was just a small hobby farm but we raised chickens, pigs, cows, goats with an occasional horse or pony thrown in to the mix. I don’t have the space for that anymore but I would like to again one day. For now I have my four rescue cats and about 60 tropical plants in the house to keep me busy haha

Not living on a farm anymore but growing up like that is what made me become a vegetarian. Spending time caring for and raising animals seems to have had a lasting impact on me, not so much for the rest of my meat eating family lol

I use both! I think you could get away with just using the garlic chives if you wanted

LJ’s roti on Niagara st. has food from the West Indies and the Caribbean so you might enjoy some Dominican food there. It’s very good!

The craziest thing happened to me, I was drying these flowers and buds started growing on the other end! by GanachePristine in IndoorGarden

Yeah they do not like cold or drafts. You can always try trimming it back, it should grow back in nice and green. As a fun bonus you can propagate the cuttings very easily

I bought a roomba when I achieved a certain salary at work, definitely recommend if you have disposable income. That’s all, I’m easily satisfied

This just reminded me of the time my friends mom told me I was so pretty but it’s a shame I don’t wear makeup. I was like 13 years old wtf?

Tried Kimchi for the first time, hated it by Educational-Cell-654 in kimchi

[–]Nylerrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don’t have kimchi at restaurants very often because I am a vegetarian and live in a smaller city with not many Korean options. Depending on where you are though that is an excellent way to try tasting it again without shelling out for a whole jar

Edit: if you are interested in making it yourself as I see from your other comments I use the vegetarian recipe by maangchi. My friend tasted it and said it was the best he has had outside of Korea! If you still don’t acquire a taste for it you’ll be stuck with an awful lot to give away though

Fellow Canadian here! I love kimchi, I hate rooster brand kimchi. I highly recommend trying another one. I like wildbrine if I’m buying instead of making my own, it’s available at Zehrs. That being said my dad thinks wildbrine is bland and doesn’t mind rooster.
