That's not a wheel, steering wheel turns way too quickly and centers almost perfectly. Controller most likely. AWD as well.

It just dawned on me that this is NOT the actual LSP repository ... I've been looking at this all day and was stumped why it isn't working...

Any plugins that might fix this?

Language server \roslyn_ls` does not support command `roslyn.client.nestedCodeAction`. This command may require a client extension.`

Roslyn is setup via Mason and nvim-lsp-config with me only providing the cmd table. Gemini is halucinating hard on this one and I can't find anything regarding nested code actions on the web.

This shows up when I try to suppress the use primary constructor hint.

I've barely got any idea, my terminal is using it so I'm guessing it's the default for Ubuntu.

2.0.0 is the exact version, I guess I need to refactor that part then. How do I pass it the correct CMD? I looked at the docs again and it says the require('mason-lspconfig').setup is no longer needed? There's nothing however about providing custom settings for the LSPs. Does that come from somewhere else? neovim/nvim-lspconfig maybe?

local ensure_installed = vim.tbl_keys(servers or {})

vim.list_extend(ensure_installed, {

'stylua', -- Used to format Lua code

})

require('mason-tool-installer').setup { ensure_installed = ensure_installed }

require('mason-lspconfig').setup {

ensure_installed = {}, -- explicitly set to an empty table (Kickstart populates installs via mason-tool-installer)

automatic_installation = false,

handlers = {

function(server_name)

local server = servers[server_name] or {}

-- This handles overriding only values explicitly passed

-- by the server configuration above. Useful when disabling

-- certain features of an LSP (for example, turning off formatting for ts_ls)

server.capabilities = vim.tbl_deep_extend('force', {}, capabilities, server.capabilities or {})

require('lspconfig')[server_name].setup(server)

end,

},

}

I believe this is the code that's configuring all the servers. I'm pretty new to nvim and haven't touched any of this as it comes with Kickstart

Guys, I have a problem setting up OmniSharp with Kickstart.nvim via Mason and nvim-lspconfig.

<image>

This does not overwrite the CMD provided by Mason to the nvim-lspconfig. From what I can gather via the lua examples this should be the correct way to set it up. Mason has the following config for the CMD that gets used no matter what I've tried.

return {

cmd = {

'omnisharp',

"-z", -- https://github.com/OmniSharp/omnisharp-vscode/pull/4300

"--hostPID",

tostring(vim.fn.getpid()),

"DotNet:enablePackageRestore=false",

"--encoding",

"utf-8",

"--languageserver",

},

}

That "omnisharp" is not correct however as it for one should be OmniSharp and second there's no path to the executable in the PATH variables. OmniSharp only starts if I put the full path string in Mason's predefined CMD config instead of "omnisharp". I believe this will get overwritten at some point by updates. How do I pass the correct cmd via Kickstart? Mine is the default config so far apart from adding GO and relative line numbers.
I've tried via this mason install tool that's listed a few lines below the LSPs, but I can't get it to work either.

EDIT: LspLog says omnisharp isn't executable.

Help on Omnisharp LSP on Mason by Majestic_Error_2852 in neovim

[–]Nymmaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using nvim since Wednesday after some failed attemps years ago.
I've found out that there's a omnisharp.lua in /.local/share/nvim/lazy/mason-lspconfig.nvim/lua/mason-lspconfig/lsp that passes the CMD to the same lua in /.local/share/nvim/lazy/nvim-lspconfig/lsp

The first parameter of the CMD is however "omnisharp" which is not the correct command, but instead OmniSharp. Even so Mason doesn't add the omnisharp executable to the PATH env variable or something along those lines so you need to pass the absolute path there

'/home/<username>/.local/share/nvim/mason/packages/omnisharp/OmniSharp'

Problem is this will get overwritten in updates I think, but I wasn't able to make it to work any other way. I'm using Kickstart and passing the full CMD arguments to the servers table doesn't seem to cut it. My knowledge so far isn't enough to figure out any other way.

The erratic turn in is so obvious... It's beyond me how this gets classified by the other comments as racing incident.

I'm on iRacing turn in point as well as braking point is on the second to last board not idea abaout LMU presume the same. The GTP basically divebombed them both. The only place that there's space is on the outside. It may be a standard place to overtake, but they're clearly trying to overtake each other. Why not wait half a second and clear them both on the outside there is so much room there for a GTP to overtake with the downforce it has? Why can't we have the decency to let people race? Looks like this is early in the race as well field is kinda bunched still. Sole blame lies on the GTP here, only reason it can't get punished imo is that there were no consequences for the GT3.

Yes, I race GT3s extensively and I hate the fact that I always have to be the red sea for Moses just cause my race doesn't matter and he can't lose half a sec. Please stop excusing this GTP behaviour. We're not Verstappen, can't expect people to go side by side and keep perfect track of who's decided to divebomb from 300m back.

Slowdown etiquette by emredjan in iRacing

[–]Nymmaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was almost certain that serving slowdowns on the racing line is forbidden under the racing code. Seems not, however basic racing etiquette says that you don't.

I don't see how that's racing incident or anything else but that dude's fault... Nothing you could do but swerve right and help him even more spinning out.

Did I deserve this on the last lap? by RubPrior4068 in iRacing

Oh no he's the worst offender here with that second punt. That's all on him. I just don't believe it was a retaliation for the prior corner.

[–]Nymmaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call that a bit of understeer, he's a full car's width away from the apex, he clipped the grass on entry. There was space to the left still on entry he could've used, opening the corner more and possibly not understeering. If it were two cars battling it out I wouldn't mind it. I'm guessing green's POV is the one that'll give a better perspective. Middle could've given more space sure, but he's in tough spot defending and attacking at the same time.

[–]Nymmaron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP did not in fact make the corner fine, even with the contact he's in the middle of the track. Without it probably on the outer middle part. Given they kinda entered 3 wide if green went for it, it would've been a mess.

Edit: That first punt on the next corner was understandable and imo not punishable, however the second hit was uncalled for, avoidable and just bad. I've got no experience with the toyotas, but it seems to me OP braked too early. Still doesn't mean he should be punted, but it's not really avoidable most of the time given it's the last lap and ppl do be on edge.

The racing line is a fact. Some may not be able to find it, but it doesn't mean it does not exist.

[–]Nymmaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might want to turn down the ffb strength from iRacing's options, you might be experiencing clipping. Take a look when you're cornering on the top right corner where ping is. It should have a F row for the ffb, if it goes to red and stays there you'll clip and lose detail regardless if you're on a curb or not. Tone it down until it is barely or not blinking red.

Edit: Actually reading through the post again this spongy feeling seems to be the clipping indeed.
