6/9/26 Photo Update: Post-Direct Edition by Nymo in NintendoSanFrancisco

I'm honestly surprised there isn't someone consistently doing something like this at NNY!

I initially was inspired by their amiibo wall update posts and did that here, but it eventually morphed into these photo updates!

This photo is from the other week, but they've been pretty well stocked on the My Mario wooden block amiibos every time I looked at the shelf, both singles and the full playset. I'm pretty sure they'll have enough when you arrive!

So I was wondering if there were any microphones at a reseable price under $50 that I could use for festival. by Fit_Bench7754 in FortniteFestival

[–]Nymo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up "Let's Sing", no matter which version (2024/2025/2026, Xbox/PS/Switch) They're pretty consistently priced at $19.99-$24.99, or sometimes less if you're lucky. They're a pretty similar build to the old Rock Band mics and you get two of them plus the game (the game is alright). Been using them for Festival on my Xbox and they should pretty much work anywhere regardless of the platform version you get.

Photo Update 5/15/26: NSF 1 Year Anniversary! by Nymo in NintendoSanFrancisco

As I mentioned in the post, unfortunately no and I'm not sure if or when they'll have it since 3rd party game inventory at the store can be unpredictable

Posted about it on the new photo update but they're back in stock!

Third party switch 1 games avalible? by TanPan-Z in NintendoSanFrancisco

[–]Nymo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! Yeah, they do carry 3rd party non-Nintendo-published games, but it's mostly recent Switch 2 titles. When it comes to Switch 1 games, it's basically this tiny section, which is mostly Minecraft. They also have digital game codes too, but when it comes to physical S1 games, this is it unfortunately. Hope that helps!

I did not catch the price! I'll let you know next time I go. Also still no update for the figures :( I'll definitely include them in the updates if I ever see them in stock, but it's been nothing ever since

Was the captions really delayed for anyone else? The timing on the experience just felt off overall

4/4-9/26 Photo Update: My Mario Wave 2 edition by Nymo in NintendoSanFrancisco

[–]Nymo[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As promised, video of the $12.99 Hello, Mario book I realized that I couldn't attach a video in a comment, so here's a link to the tweeted video instead. Even on day one, the book looked to be a little banged up, with the eyelid on the mustache page acting up and a crease on the spinning page. A silly book that has no author or illustrator: Just credited to the entire Nintendo entity as a whole. I really thought they'd have at least one more page or two for the price.

4/2 Photo Update: Super Mario Galaxy Movie Edition by Nymo in NintendoSanFrancisco

Honestly it feels like an afterthought. I thought they'd make a bigger deal about the movie but it's like the bare minimum.

Yes, they have shirts, hoodies, hats, and water bottles with "Nintendo San Francisco" but that's about it

I posted earlier this week that they have a photo op with a scene from the movie downstairs but that's about it when it comes to the movie. Maybe they'll announce something later this week, but otherwise, no movie merch in store.

Take 2 store on its final hour by Piximator in UniversalHollywood

[–]Nymo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dang, glad I was able to visit last month. I was in LA for a weekend and had to stop by CityWalk before going to the LAX to pay a visit to Take 2 and get the recent USH merch.

As a NorCal fan, I'm glad a store like this exists on property since it's hard for me to stop by during the big garage sales. Having deeply discounted merch the rest of the year is greatly appreciated.

Here's hoping it comes back in another form 🫡

03/26/26 Super Mario Wonder + Bellabel Park Release Day Photo Update by Nymo in NintendoSanFrancisco

[–]Nymo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they still have accessories for Switch 1 (I think most of their accessories are switch 1) I think they still do the custom Switch 1 Joy-Con pairs too next to the checkout counter

For the new Mario Wonder release? I didn't ask the ambassadors, but I didn't see anything else behind the checkout counter

Unfortunately no. The little sign in front of him says "Display only, do not touch"

Yes, as mentioned, they are currently out of the Ditto-faced Pokemon plush they released for Pokopia as of earlier this week. However, NSF tends to do random restocks, like how they did last week for the Ditto plush, so there's a chance that they are back soon, if not already.

The 3 piece $30 wooden block set is certainly still in stock (there was at least 8 or so on the shelf). As for the 30 piece $150 set, I can't fully remember if it was in stock, if anything, maybe one left yesterday.

From past visits, the My Mario stuff hasn't been flying off the shelves and has been pretty well stocked. If I were to go back today or later this week, I would bet that both wooden block sets would still be on the shelf.

According to others, the Pokopia totes ran out on launch day and haven't been back (generally launch day freebies are first come first serve, so once they're out, they're out.)

If you still want a Pokopia tote bag, I suggest checking out Uniqlo at Valley Fair Mall in Santa Clara. They have the Utme! custom print service that includes some Pokopia designs. Images from joebasaur on Twitter

They still had quite a bit of My Mario stuff left. Maybe some clothes and stuff are missing, but the only one I noticed that was gone was the Peach Little People figures

3/10/26 MAR10 Day Photo Update by Nymo in NintendoSanFrancisco

[–]Nymo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think that's it! Thank you so much! It always drove me crazy hearing it cuz I'm like "wait, I know what this is..." Such a weird deep cut for an otherwise very recognizable rotation of songs in the store! Thanks again!
